  • With all do respect to John...Paul was much better than him vocally and instrumentally speaking..Songwriting speaking probably too but I'm not exactly sure about that..

  • @OmarGudmunds yes, before he died paul was good. But, faul's a phoney.

  • He didn't expose it to the public but his former bodyguards did.

  • Rock And Roll - The "Let It Be" Rehearsals Volume 4 Label: Yellow Dog Records (2) Catalog#: YD 054 Format: CD, Unofficial Release, Mono Country: Luxembourg Released: 1994 Genre: Rock Style: Pop Rock
  • This bass line was copied in The Ballad of Johnand Yoko.

  • @MAGICO240 This bass line is so much used by different artists so you can't really say they copied elvis.

  • Where did you get this record. haha The record sound like it's in great shape too.

  • And a very very cool bassline there Paul :)

  • Beatles goofing around :) Always fun to hear.

  • Elvis also said The Beatles were to blame for introducing drugs to America's youth when he himself was a drug addict.

  • @cometandcupids but he didnt expose it to the public like the beatles did

  • @cometandcupids that's not true

  • this is the Beatles doing a sound check. this is shit

  • OMG THIS IS SHIT ON A LP

  • It's just a funny breather between songs..the beatles always goofed around in the studio..

  • they were probably high when they recorded this.I wonder who bought lennon's toiletpot, pretty sick.

  • xDDD

I have this track on my phone, I love singing along with this in the car.

  • He sounds like sh*t. I hate how he sings through his nose. Lennon's voice sounded like someone with the runs. Paul was the REAL leader of the group.

  • The Beatles admired Elvis and his music!!!! Elvis is the reason Lennon got into music :)

  • This is no Beatles cover!__ This is the John Lennon screwing around during a studio sound check! Who ever posted this is full of crap! There might have been one or two of the other Beatles screwing around on this too...this was done while they were waiting for the producer's sound board to be set. This is a bootlegged peice of crap from the Let It Be session's.

  • Elvis was just one guy who got most of songs from someone else

But The Beatles were a band they had a chemistry and writing talent that no one can come close to

  • Are you serious? Turn this crap off. I think the Beatles need to stick to Something....

  • fuck off - did fatty pant splittert write this song - copy cat cunt!

  • John's heart was broken at an early age. He was raised by his Aunt. He escaped by listening to Elvis. Elvis' music changed John's life: gave him hope and inspiration. He related to the rebellious sound and garb, and began to hone it. He became a lifelong Elvis fan. Even though they came from different worlds and walked in different directions - don't underestimate Elvis' influence on John Lennon.

  • What is this shit! TERRIBLE

  • @DAMC83

    lol

  • ¡¡¡¡¡ ʇı ǝʞɐʇ ʇ`uɐɔ ɹǝʇndɯoɔ ʎɯ poƃ ʎɯ ɥo :-(

  • Haha, they had a sense of humor. And anyone who's using this song to compare Elvis and The Beatles is obviously higher than John Lennon on the Revolver album. It's obviously a joke! (As evidenced by the fact that John can't even get through it without laughing.) They are/were all talented musicians, but they were different- you really can't compare them.

  • what the fuck is this ??

  • You guys, quit comparing Elvis and The Beatles. It's like comparing burgers and hot dogs. They were both awesome, in different ways for different reasons.

  • I kinda like it !

  • Funny that anyone will even say the Beatles topped Elvis that's four against one still Elvis managed to out sell everybody including Led Zepplin who came into town to play that very night,Elvis sold out they didn't. Robert Plant came to his hotel to hang out with Elvis after their shows, Robert is a huge Elvis fan and couldn't stop talkin about the King same with the beatles! On Elvis's Madison Square show he was the only performer to have sold it out 4 consecutive times in a row,

  • I guess what was left of the Beatles at that point was they knew who the king was since John and George were in attendance cheering him on and that is a slap in the face!! The King will always reign over everyone who came and went even the Beatles do agree would have too...ask Plant!!.

  • Weird your boot plays on speed 16 ! That's something you don't see too often.

  • This is not even real guys, listen to Bootlegs of the Beatles or even real records and you will know, jeez you guys take stuff to serious LOL

    -BandsBest

  • wrong speed!!

  • Was this filmed in a junk yard or did a storage locker explode?

  • Trolvis was so good that lots of different artists wrote his 9 number 1 singles for him

THE BEATLES in a totally different class wrote all of their own 21 number 1s smashing everybody in the past and everybody to come in the future

  • TRUE, every word in your comment, nobody comes close to the Beatles.

  • yeah someone else wrote them but it was his voice that got them to number one beatles have about 2 good songs other than that they suck plain and simple

  • @apollocreed1703 2 good songs??? Are you crazy. They were more talented than Elvis, the out sold him to... elvis was just a singer who didnt write his own music

  • @BL80488 tit

  • Haha i love how people are taking this seriously, it's obviously just a mess around. Elvis covered hey jude and alot of other songs of theirs and he had a laugh with it too, i admit both didn't do great jobs because they have individual songs, but i love both the Beatles and Elvis!

  • instantwheat: Yeah you are right. The beatles do blow.

    Elvis.....Greatest Entertainer Ever!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • The Beatles covered about 24 songs in thier career and Elvis many more ,but they are both great artists.

  • oh please they were just having fun. it wasnt an official cover.

  • I love the beatles too,but this is a terrible version of this great song. they were probably just horsing around.Sounds like a blooper and being a musician myself they would have never wanted it released they were very picky about the finished product hence their great sound. The recording company or the"rights owners" wanted to sell it because they knew the beatle nuts would buy ANYTHING of them just like they do with Elvis's stuff I'm sure the King woulnt let them do it if he was alive.

  • that is leagally an opinion

  • Christopher2096 aka The Rev. Dr. Bullshit hardly anything he says is true mostly made up nonsense.

  • Oh and he's an Elvis freak so he makes up shit trying to prop up Elvis over anyone else

  • Comment removed

  • Should we stop this argument already.

  • The Rev. Dr. Bullshit aka christopher is an Elvis freak that likes to play games with numbers so that Elvis comes out on top take any thing he says with a grain of salt he is a liar too.

  • It seems you really concern about album sales, christopher2906.

All I know is that they are the only artists who surpass 1 billion sales worldwide.

Anyway, I love them both, The Beatles and pre-army Elvis.

  • According to RIAA. The Beatles is the best selling artist in the US, Elvis is not even the second (notice that his stuff been around sooner and longer)

    Your Citation is just nonsense,christopher2906

  • Elvis holds more records than any other musical act in the histroy of the recording industry. in 1986 he was award for thesale of 1 BIllion albums the closest act ,Beatles at 650 millions, Both have continued to sell so Is safe to say Elvis still leads here are some other records:

Most songs on Billboard top 100: 149

    Most Top 40 songs: 114

    Most Top 10 songs: 44

    Most #1's for a solo artist: 18 (Beatles 19)

Most weeks at #1: 80 weeks

    Most Charted albums: 90

    Most #1 albums: 10

  • your facts are a bit off. In 2008 RCA readjusted Elvis's sales figure to between 900 million and 1 billion because Don Wardell the VP of the Elvis catalog 1n 1980 made up the 1 billion sales figure. No one called him on it until 2008, RCA could not verify the then 1.8 bullion figure and was forced to readjust the figures.

    top 40 = 96

    top 10 =31

most albums and most singles released.

most #1 albums the Beatles with 19

most #1 singles the Beatles with 20

most total sales the Beatles 1.3 billion

  • elvis never wrote JACK-SHIT and musically couldnt carry the beatles equipment

elvis had two great years first two then all down hill like the fucking "one trick pony"

he was...true he is till a legend, but

he went out a loser in 1977 looking like a loser dressed like a loser hair dyed like a loser and singing losing cover songs over & over

  • Elvis is a great singer and he co wrote this song with Otis Blackwell. The beatles are great to but you,you bloody idiot wanker should put your head back in the Toilet where you were BORN you strung out S.O.Bitch!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey strato, again elvis never wrote jack- shit

no your music b4 u post

the colonel asshole, gave elvis credit on a song or two to try and make him a few extra bucks....all the money was in who wrote the songs not the singer dummy.

    THINK before you postman!!!!!!

    The Beatles blow elvis away!

    as proven with.......

    9-09-09

    HERE COME THE BEATLES (AGAIN)

    grow up hick!

  • Wrong again PELLICK! You better KNOW your music!Otis blackwell made great comments about working with Elvis writing the song!!!Elvis him self defended himself when asked @ an interveiw regaurding that very same thing in N/York 1972 published in Rolling Stone mag and also Mae Axton Hoyt Axtons mother who co wrote Heartbreak Hotel WITH Elvis probably the main writer of it also mentions her experience about that in an interveiw."no Elvis,no Beatles" Lennons quote.

  • who cares?

  • Comment removed

  • fasano68's comments might be a little off but not that much where either one of them comes out on top.The RIAA has NEVER been the last word on sales period!!!Elvis was just ONE guy anyway the beatles were 4 and all huge Elvis fans. They both respected eachother and again John Lennons qoute"If there was no Elvis their would be NO beatles" So VNThongNhat your statement is TOTAL NONSENSE.

  • I could be wrong, but this does not sound like The Beatles. John Lennon recorded his "Rock And Roll" album in 1974, during the so-called "Lost Weekend". John's voice here sounds as it did during those recording sessions. It's possible that he was goofing around during one of those sessions. What do others think?

  • In this recording the Beatles sound like screaming kids who can't sing ... Elvis Rules.

  • a total disgrace to the to king

  • ignorant fans like you are a disgrace to the king

  • LMAO!

  • They sell Elvis stuff off cheap, but not Beatles

  • The unenlightened will never understand that the Beatles are so big that even their screwing around in the studio was made a record of and sold. Sorry the lame don't get it, your loss.

  • This was never sold to the public, this is a rare one press demo, probably worth a small fortune, never meant for public consumption, same as Elvis' home recordings which are far superior of course.

  • it's a bootleg of them goofing around in the studio great stuff if you're trying to make fun of them mega fail this is great.

  • Great for Beatle fans only, Lennon was a mess really, that does not take from the fact that he was a great artist, most great artists are fuck ups.

  • Lol.

  • u just don't get it do you?

VICKI, u r gonna go your whole life missing the music boat of life, THE BEATLES! What a fool on the pill!

musically john lennon alone is bigger than the stones and the king of the cover songs!

all kinds of beatles stuff is breaking out

don't be stupid...if the beatles wanted to they could have kicked this song to a HIGH LEVEL....no one tops elvis version and that is probably why they were fooling around.

    you jealous gurl! hahahaahaaha

  • Haha
