Many of these Goudreau album songs with Brad should have been on Third Stage. Would have a billion times better more well rounded rock album. It was ok at best. Boston unfourtunately was two albums and out. Oh well.
@TheAntman1265 I love Goudeau's stuff as much as anyone (have every RTZ, Ernie\Automatics, Orion, etc)., but if you think any of this would have been better than the worst track of Third Stage, you're either nuts or tone deaf....
I heard them play the OTHER hit on the radio the past month, I was off driving my car and it ROCKED the floor! haha Thanks for the cred. It sounds KICK ARSE
Barry Goudreau plays all instruments on this album except drums and lead vocals. Fran Cosmo sings lead vocals on this album when Brad Delp is not. I have the album and the liner notes on the inner sleeve state such and is backed up by many sites on the internet.
As far as I'm concerned, this is Boston's third album even if Tom Sholtz isn't there. In fact, it was probably better that Sholtz wasn't there but if it had the "Boston" name on it, it would have sold millions...just my opinion 'cause I think this record is that good!
This is great! I knew he had a solo album out in 80 but I haven't heard any of it until now. I absolutely love Boston, and this is great! Thanks. RIP Brad 2007 (I remember that clearly because it was the day before my birthday) One of my favorite singers.
Thanks Natalia! Yes Barry was with Boston as well as the lead singer and drummer from this song. I guess you could say that this was 60% or 3/5ths of Boston.
Hi Rick, it's been long since I heard of Boston. And Barry with Tom was my favorite guitarist during the days. Awesome vid man, brings back a lot of memories, missed Brad too....and hey fantastic slide show!
Thank you Mat! I already had this posted from April of this year but have since improved the transfer process from vinyl to computer so I redid the audio and vid for this one at a listeners request. This is an almost perfectly crafted song!
why wasn't this on the radio??

@rickyon Fran sang most of Walk On, IIRC? I have that LP, in damn fine shape too!

@ST21phil07 Fran Cosmo mimed the bass in the video for "Dreams." Probably where you got the idea.
