Would anybody recommend this for recording drums? I have 7 mics, 2 of them are condensers, I would be recording into Logic, could anybody say if this is a good investment, specifically the 820i?
Hi. Could you post a high quality video of this mixer in use? For example, plug in a good condenser mic and adjust the EQ, so we can hear it in action, direct so to speak.
Hi mr. T4showvideos i got a problem, i guess everybody got the same. i dont find a video on youtube how to setup onyx820. the problem is HOW CAN I SETUP that mix? this is Nice video. but Please do a setup video once it is all finished :)
actually, I read up that you can plug in a regular dynamic mic into a slot with running phantom power, so you can mix phantom power mics with dynamic mics. Something to do with the ground switch configured differently in the two mic types.
Just want to know if you are happy with the sound it puts out? Planning on getting the next 1 up. I think it just has a couple of more channels. Nice unboxing 5 Star
hello again on the EQ the pot that says freq and mid is whats called a swept mid meaning you can select a frequency and cut or boost it and the high is set at 12khz and you can cut or boost that frequency and the low at 80hz and again you can cut or boost that frequency
Hey man awesome mixer just to let you know the thing that you called a dB pad is like a high pass filter set to where the manufacturer thinks is suitable its usefull for getting rid of any unwanted low frequency sounds and rumbles good for a clean bass guitar recording or a clean kick/bass drum unless you want a dirty recording just thought id let you know
Hi! Just a quick message to say that the AUX with the AUX sends are for separate monitors, useful for bands so they can hear themselves clearer that trying to listen to the main out directed at the audience. So AUX is really only usually used for live performances, band/artist recordings and live DJ'ing. Nice mixer, and loving your videos!! Thanks!! Lawrie

A question....does Mackie ProFX8 allow to import into the computer for example 5 different tracks so I can modify them separately?
