  • Heya...

My question is simple..I've seen countless foundation tutorial but the like but I am still clueless on how to choose the right colour and texture for my skin..all the ones I have are either a colour too pale or a colour too dark..they seem alright at the drugstore but the moment I try them on at home they look all wrong..Would you be able to guide us through a foundation/concealer selection? If its any help, I have my skin tone is dark brown and I have part a combination skin.. HELP :(

  • Me too. These colors are lovely, but just can't work on me.

  • Hi Jasmine

Weather change and having a bad cold-flu with running nose and blaoting face.

Is there any way to keep looking good and wear make up and go to work?

As I don't like wearing make up but any views....or tips......

  • Thank you so much for your honesty and for trying to stay positive in your review.

Question for this Friday regarding cream blush:

Are cream blushes indicated for dry/sensitive skin or do they accentuate dryness? How do they feel on the skin? Do they let the skin breathe? - My skin is so sensitive, it can't handle liquid foundation, and I have always been curious about cream blushes, so I was wondering if they'd work on my skin type.) How do you apply them? (fingers/brushes, etc)

    Thank you!

  • My question is: There is countless of contradicting information indicating the application of concealer. Can you please clear this up?...1) Is it applied before or after foundation? 2) Is the concealer supposed to match your skin tone, or be lighter or darker in colour? 3) Should the concealer you apply under your eyes match the same shade you would apply to any other imperfect areas on your face?

  • hii, thanx fr the video! can u please do a hammasa kohistani makeup tutorial plzz? x

  • yeah i totally agree with this review. i got a couple of them and the texture and finish of these lip colors are so so bad! extremely patchy and not even that moisturizing!

  • will give them a wiiiiiiiiiiide berth then lol :0)

  • Thank you SO much for the honest review. In these days of several YouTube gurus not even being honest when they're promoting or reviewing a gifted item and saying they're hauling items instead, it's refreshing to see an honest voice. You're one of the few gurus we can all trust, so thanks. And Body Shop should also be grateful because the fact that you had nice things to say about their other products makes it very believable and I'll be happy to try them out.

  • Hi Jasmine.....My request for the blog is I would like to hear your opinion on any especially good products or tips for the more mature face.

  • Hi, question for friday: I'm wondering if there's anything to help over plucked eyebrows, or how would you cover over gaps without it being obvious? Thankyou, your vids are brilliant, you've helped me a lot with makeup!

  • My question is about stretchmarks, and whether you have any tips on prevention, coverage, and healing them. Is there any magic solutions?

  • Bio Oil! It's a tad on the expensive side and takes a month-ish of applying it twice daily to get any results, but it's damn good stuff. It's perfect for any scars, stretch marks, blemishes..

Stretch marks can be prevented by keeping the skin hydrated, say if you're pregnant, keep moisturising your stomach, breasts, anywhere that gets bigger. If you are unfortunate enough to have them, like I am, on western skin tones they fade to a nearly invisible silvery colour that is easy to tan out.

  • what is the most important makeup u shud wear

  • I bought one of these a while back ago in July and I don't like them either. was just too sheer for me and my lips are already dry and it dried them out even more.

    thanks for the honest review.

  • Thanks for the review Jasmine, love your vids!

  • hey jasmine! i need help! my upper lip color is way too darker than my lower lip color! so please tell me what should be done to maintain a pretty pink color for my lips!

  • hey jasmine i was just wondering whether face primers could be used for the eyes to keep shadows on?or whether it would be better to get an actual eyelid primer?

thanks and luv ur vids xox

  • i dont like pearlscent lipsticks either its look drag-queeny

  • aww thats such a shame because the colours are beautiful! I love the body shop aswell and i have many of their lip products, so this is quite sad. For blog tv i have a question: What type of foundation would you reccomend for combination skin for summer? Its bad enuf that the oily patches of my skin affect my foundation but during summer i feel like my foundation is melting off! Should i use only powder foundations?

    Thank you :)

  • Great honest review as usual. Color is gorgeous on you. I planned to go to the store and check them out. I still might even though I don't need more lip products. :) I plan to see how they work for me. I hope your car is back up and running. Chat with you on Friday. :)

  • Thanks for the review :)

  • aw i hope your car will be fixed! thanks for the review! i love your vids!

  • That's okay, sometimes you just have to be honest and give a bad review. I completely understand though, especially if it's free, I feel bad, like I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth. But hey, it wouldn't be a *true* review if it wasn't honest. :)

  • i agree with you :)

  • Your lips always look nice, but this lipstick on you makes them look not quite as nice.

  • Oh really? The ones I have tried are sooo smooth and moisturising!! That is so strange. I would have compared them to cremesheens in consistency.. hmm :( xxx

  • I wanted to like them, I really did but I just don't get on with them! :(

  • Thanks Jasmine for the review!

Negative reviews are always welcome. Make ups are expensive and its good to be well aware before buying anything..

    Thanks again!

  • sell them on ebay...

  • maybe make a tinted lip balm out of them?

  • Hi Jasmine Cant wait for urs and beckys blogtv :). I'm sure u r aware i'm a regular viewer of beckys..and you and i have had a few quick chats on there occasionally. I think it'll b great fun :) x P.s Would love to get to know u better. If u r interested send me a private message and maybe we can exchange emails? :)

  • Aaaah, that was a pretty pink shade. Sorry it didn't work for you. Hope your car woes are over soon :))

  • its so good to see someone give an honest review! Its a pain when people give false reviews just because the were given the products!

    Thanks x

  • Kewl; I love the lipstick on you.

  • Hi, thanks for the review. Hope your car is ok. Mine is making funny noises now, hope it won't die on me :(

For your blog tv, I have a question: how do you make eye pencil work if you have hooded eyes. I love the quickness and softness of the eye pencil look, but it always transfers onto the crease, off the upper lid. I tried so many things, like eye primer, I tried shadow over pencil, I tried long lasting pencils (24/7 from UD). Not working. Do I have to ditch the eye pencil forever?

  • plz helppp. i have really long natural eyelashes... and i curl them at least 2 times before i apply my mascara.but they always seem to droop down and loose their curl.

and i use good mascara. i have dior black show, maybelline collosel, loreal arcitech!

    any adviseeee? :)

  • I'd love to hear about pros/ cons of mineral makeup and any particular brands you prefer. I use a brand called bare minerals/ essentials, though I don't know if that is available in the uk, and am interested in hearing about other brands you may have tried.

  • Yes I do, I think it is a forward thinking company, they do a lot for Fair Trade, Organic and environmental concerns which is brilliant.

  • That color is so pretty on you! Hugs...

  • I got one of these (it's called Soft Heather), and I have the same problem :( It's a lovely lilac colour, but it doesn't even show in my lips. A shame.

  • omg that lip colour is so nice on you! xx

  • Great review!

I have the Rose Pink shade and I like the colour but hate how it feels!

Hope your car is ok! xx

  • The "break down man"; if you hadn't referenced your car immediately afterward I would have been clueless as to who you meant.

  • Shame they didn't work for you - I have to confess I still need to test them! Looking forward to blog tv...I'm on a latre shift so I hope to be able to catch the end xxx

  • would be lovely if you stop by!

  • i quite agree with you i don't like these lipsticks thank god i bought one i wanted to buy quite few lol

  • hey ! can u do a party look plz ?

    ta xxx

thats a shame that the lipstics never went on the way you wanted ! they were such nice colours aswell xx

    :)

  • such a shame as the colours are gorgeous

  • Give them to me and I will see if it is working for me or not.. hehehe

    Take care Jasmine!

  • I would but they have been claimed already by friends and family!

  • Thanks anyway!

  • Exactly what I wanted to say too:)
