There are many different ways to mic up a drum kit, each way giving a slightly different sound. Of course different snare drums give different sounds, but if you copy the way its mic-ed up you may be able to mimic it

i believe it is mic'd up and positioned at the top center so the length can run between the toms, but I have never mic'd up my set before so I wouldn't know.
