  • the 1986-1989 Honda Accord Japan was assembled in

    Sayama, Japan

  • How come the japanese version didn't have pop-up lights? The Canadian version did. But, the pop-up lights look cool.

  • japanese ones did have pop-up lights, this is just a ad for the CA accord (the fixed headlight version) :)

  • @CAAccord Does CA stand for California? Because I'm from there and I have never seen an accord that looks like this.

  • @MrCivichatchback I can't remember the exact translation. I think on Wikipedia it said it stood for "Continental Accord". Only difference was it had fixed headlights instead of pop-up headlights

  • @CAAccord I always hated the pop-up headlights anways! This would be a cool car to own. The headlights look very Civic. Thats how the Civics of the time, from the states looked. Would LOVE to own one! This is one of the "last forever" Honda's! Love it!

  • @MrCivichatchback haha yep. people have always thought the CA stood for "Civic/Accord" cause of the headlights being similar
