Hi there everyone. you know how they made this special kind of pilot episode. an episode that helped children to save. it would've be so cool if around this time they had made a special episode that had supergirl in it. As much as i love this series it was a shame they never placed supergirl in. it would've been so funny to see the reaction on superman's face.
Hi there. thanks so much for replying. yes i know. I found out some while back that supergirl was not created until 1959. And you know it sounds silly but there i was watching the series of superman waiting for supergirl to appear and then i found out shw wasn't created until a year after the series had finished. DRATS!
@fieldsofheaven02 You can see SMALLVILLE's version of Supergirl, now, even though the idiots still haven't actually let Clark be SUPERMAN yet! The WB's animated Superman and Justice League shows had the best version of her so far, though, in my opinion.
I always enjoyed George Reeve's take on Clark Kent. He was the real person and Superman was just his disguise. His Clark Kent wasn't the type that you wanted to miss around with either.
He looked like he could knock you into next week if he was just a regular guy.
This was produced, under the supervision of Whitney Ellsworth, at the tail end of the second (1953-'54) season, and features Billy Nelson as "Blinky", and Tris Coffin as "Mr. Gowan" [both frequently appeared on the series in different roles over the years, usually portraying "unsavory characters"].

US Treasury sponsored Superman. I guess Richy Rich was sponsored by the IRS and the Swamp Thing was sponsored by Department of Agriculture.

I couldn't help noticing the fact that Superman chose to skip over a window at ground level, maybe he was lacking some confidence that day?

Superdooperpooperscooperman. It's hard to believe the 2 Reeves aren't related. At least that's what I was told. Both will be missed.

@niflap To give some clarification George Reeves and Christopher Reeve couldn't have been related.

@fieldsofheaven02 Unfortunately, Supergirl was not created until 1959, and this show stopped production in 1958.
