i went loud on this one in big boss difficulty, can't remember how i passed through but it took me 10-20 tries, those fucking geckos just kept coming, i killed like at least 6 of them. i love being stealth in games but MGS4 is just not my style, it was ridiculous in some ways.

I had found another way to reach the valve door, but you had to download the Haven Camo. I could never get through the gekkos though.

why do you need to crawl? just go to the other side you'll just have to run and without them even notice and yes need to use chaff nade on the gecko.and you dont have to climb,crawl,use boxes or even stealth..your way is so much troublesome,go on have a try.too bad i cant show you.

i did exactly that... and it worked! i always get the alert at the last part but someone mentioned chaff grenades, even better :-D

For the gecko just throw a chaff nade.

@devilhunterred the chaffs are really hard to find but i find 1 in act 2 in act 4 and in sumother act but you can get 6 or more chaffs in 1 playthrough i think

i just used the silenced sniper for headshots nd crawld down the left side right to the end really easy even on the boss extreme if ur going for the boss emblem u can use the mosin nagint

Nice man, what i do is basically just stick to the left side on the bottom floor for the whole time. Kill nobody except putting 2 guys 2 sleep at the end.

"for what do i have all those weapons if i cant use them XP", but its so challenging to sneak through this level without being seen, because all those frogs dont follow a simple pattern, they search the area for you and you just never feel save, because there is always the possibility thath one more of them is crawling right above you xD

Wow you do this WAY to slow... What your supposed to do is, tranq the frogs so you can move up and tranq the other 2 frogs when they jump down. Then climb up and jump on the VENT and crawl all the to the end till you find another spot to land on which you can jump and jump on the other vent and crawl through it. I'll make a vid about it cuz its hard to explain but its way faster then this
