The technique I am seeing is innate, what has changed is the course, the animal actually wanting to jump over a pair of rails and therefore using it's natural technique. It still requires training to get to do things of that size, but that is more practice based I think. Still, I haven't trained a dog to do and animal equivalent of parkour, so I guess I don't know everything.
