  • worse then the chery j1 lol

  • some stupid dumb ass here are comparing a 1.5 litre compact car with 2 litre luxury car wtf......next time u should compare an enzo ferrari with the 1.5 litre honda jazz/fit... what a dumb ass....

  • the 2001-2007 2006-2008 (U.S. and Canada) Honda Jazz/

Guangzhou-Honda Fit Sport/ Honda Fit was assembled in

    Sumaré, São Paulo, Brazil

    Guangzhou, China

    Karawang, Indonesia

    Suzuka, Mie, Japan

    Santa Rosa, Philippines

    Ayutthaya, Thailand

  • Most 02 - 05 jazz's have rust in the boot so if your hit from behind it wouldn't crumple, it would just shatter and go straight through the passengers. Just warning anyone thinking about buying it for "safety"

  • I didn't know there was a Jazz until '07

  • Cool, good to know how my car reacts in case of a crash :)

  • thats some awesome door damage..

  • I have an 04 Jazz, I thought they were safe & reliable. It is currently off the road because the electronics that control the throttle have gone up the creek. My throttle has a life of its own: sometimes it just idles even if I floor the peddle at other times it revs up and down on its own. I have a manual so I can push the clutch in to control things. If it was an auto it could be very dangerous. I have it booked in to a Honda dealer for tomorrow as it is unsafe to drive at the moment.

  • @Xerai It took them a week and half to fix it, its run 2 weeks OK and now the problem is back again. My dealer told me they cant even look at it for a week as they are too busy. If this fault occured on an automatic someone could get killed.

I didnt expect such grief from an Honda. Oh BTW, it cost me about £1000 to get it fixed first time (just for two bits of electronics to be replaced). I dont think I will be buying another Honda.

  • Лучше чем Гетц

  • 3.5 stars I would give it a 4 but that car looks hideous IMO. Too much violent movement also.

  • LOL! THE LITTLE DUMMY on the back ! :D

  • LMAO

  • isnt that a 2007 model?

  • Horrible fucking piece of shit!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldnt drive this car through an empty parking lot let alone a 75 mph freeway.

  • crap

  • Screammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • this doesn't look safe to me!

  • thats why you avoid it happening dipshit

  • Actually, it's one of the safest subcomacts on the market ...

  • lol - 0:33 the kid in the back would have rather sore neck and arms

  • after watching this im sittting in the front the kids in the back went flying

  • that looks like a cheap vershin of the fit

  • They are the same thing

  • Thanks for sharing, what does the 3 digit red number mean?

  • Counting milliseconds? I know it's keeping time but I'm not sure as to which units are being counted. It is a good tool because essentially the longer an impact takes-the better. If you have a real quick impact the human body will continue moving as the car stops. However, with a long impact you will have time to slow the body down WITH the car. think of hitting a wall versus hitting a pile of pillows. The pillows eventually bring you to a stop but it takes longer.

  • , and no the car is not a pos, if it can get to over 160mph. and one thing is the smaller V8s perform better and leaner than the bigger ones, faster pickup. yes in the long run the bigger V8 can overtake. but still it has power.

  • u idiots i hav a jazz the sports version and dont be fooled iv been in a crash with mine and the other car so called ford falcon was a ride off so this little shit is pretty safe and with a 1.6 vtec hell yea lol

  • das sollte man mit allen honda jazz machen :D

    scheiß werbung!

  • Only german and sweden cars are safe.

    Japanese, Chinese, American, France, Italian...Not

  • that honda buckled! even with such low mass behind it o_O

  • Stupid drunk drivers...

  • eww, wat an ugly car. sorry people

i like the quality and looks and performance.

as you can tell frm my user name

  • quality from a mustang? LOL

  • yes, why is it funny? would rather drive this thing on the streets? huh? something that looks like a shoe? yeah al stick with an aggressive get the Fuck out of my way car. aka Mustang V8.

  • yeah i would, at least it doesnt look like i need the image of a gay muscle car to look manly. and you ever heard of the spoon fit? better look it up cause that would rape your mustang in the ass, turn it around and do it again.

  • Spoon makes the wheels that Rota tries to copy. I believe each wheel weighs 9 pounds. Oh amazing idea just popped into my head. Lets have an endurance race. Brand new Mustang GT500 Vs Spoon Fit. (I calculated the numbers YOU LOSE). The fit has to refuel half as many times as the mustang(granted it has a fuel cell) along with less tire changes due to less lateral force during cornering. I'm sorry but ppl don't think you're badass when u drive up behind them. I feel bad that you wasted your money.

  • my car drives fine and performs fine. especially on the highway, it jumps over 80 no prob, and no boost needed. i get bout 24mpg of the 4.6L 32V winsor V8. and the chassis on my car are PK87 advanced" it drives nice around the curves, cuts, and hills. spoon fit? what is the engine size?

  • Winsor V8. That's the same motor used in the crown victoria.

The Spoon Fit uses a modified 1.5 liter. The car is designed for endurance races.

    Specs:

    Wheel: Spoon 388.6, 5x15-inch

    Tire: Yokohama/ADVAN 185/50-15

    Suspension: Spoon dampers

    Engine: 1.5-liter VTEC L15A

  • my bad, it's an in-tech v8, Ive only had the car a couple of months, but it came with the eaton blower, left that alone, and other mods like bolt ons and exhaust customs and so on,. 1.5L ahh vtec, variable valve timing electronics control.. nice.. oh i got 21inch wheels with good gear racing eagles. steeda suspension brand new, it really does handle nice tho im tellin ya

  • oh mah gah. 21 inch wheels. Those must be so god damn heavy! bigger is not necessarily better. There's a point at which the weight is more detrimental than the responsiveness of the low profile tires. vtech is not that unique actually. Variable valve timing is used on other cars; Honda just likes to make people think they are better. Subaru's have dynamic valve timing not just...two sets of cams.

  • yeah i know 21inch big yes durable yes. the rims are nice chrome, tires are nice and deliver good traction, getting snow tires soon tho. u sure bout the honda quote? vtec is not present in honda engines?

  • No, Honda does have vtech lol, they just aren't the only ones to have variable valve timing. I was stating that it is not unique to Honda and that they made a name for it (vtech) to make themselves sound better. I like Hondas but whenever some idiot civic guy comes up and tells me to turn on my turbo and that he bets I cant beat his vtech-I die a little bit inside. HOWEVER, I'm still a big Honda fan. If you are going FWD I recommend Honda any day.

  • Honda was actually one of the last car companies to have variable valve timing and they talk about it like it was hondas fucking invention

  • my point exactly.

  • oh, do u think the Fwd's are powerful enough to get through the snow? cause ive seen a vid of a civic stuck in the snow and he wasnt doin well, underpowered? idk..

what do u think? and im not trying to say anything bad, but to even it out. mustangs and snow dont really mix, mine does ok sometimes, 2nd and 3rd gear work best for me tho.

  • Uhhh power is not proportional to drivetrain. Meaning, the fact that it is FWD does not dictate whether it is powerful enough to get unstuck in snow. However, I would not recommend trusting a FWD or RWD in the snow unless you have some extremely good winter tires. That is precisely the reason why I love my subaru. AWD or 4WD are the obvious ideal choices for snow driving. RWD gets tail happy, and FWD has no traction as the weight shifts rearward during acceleration.

  • yeah, 4wd overall ownes winter roads. and ohh yes my car gets very tail happy. u really just gotta know how to handle rwd, it has a lot of doings to keep the thing moving. starting in 2nd gear and slight powershift into 3rd with such lil gas pressure. yeah it's a pain. but if u got the skill to handle then ur ok. it really comes down to. U just have to know how to handle certain cars

  • LOL, I drive a Saab and was telling these idiot Honda/Acura fans that Honda does not have a turbo or supercharged engine (minus the rare/ugly RDX that came out few years ago) and their response was "but it has VTECH", WTF, ok, everyone has VVT. Honda, like the rest of the Japanese, are so far behind with mechanical advancement.

  • Vtech is just alternate cams that kick in at a certain rpm to retain economical driveability in the low rpms and sportier feel toward the top of the power band. However, other car companies such as Subaru use an AVCS system on many of their vehicles and have a constantly dynamic valve timing system which in essence is like having vtech all the time. Saab what? saabaru? lol are you driving my car's cousin? (i drive an 02 wrx wagon)

  • No, a 9-3 built in Sweden. GM did make a 9-2x (Impreza WRX) for 2 years but canceled it. It's good they canceled, it was a good car, but there was nothing Swedish about it.

  • I guess ;) I dunno I kind of liked it here in the U.S. because there wasn't really a luxury option for the wrx and the Saab version of the 9-2x aero wagon had leather seats and a sunroof along with cleaner lines, more sound proofing, and a nicer interior. I know it wasn't your beloved authentic Swedish car, but it was a good alternative for people who wanted the wrx power and capabilities along with a little upstep in luxury, courtesy of Saab.

  • u mean vtec lol

  • so you think turbocharging is advanced mechanics? you have to be kidding right?????? that´s the funniest thing I´ve read... also there is no such thing as vtech in hondas!honda is the worlds largest engine manufacturer because they are one of the most advanced engine manufacturers in the world! honda does know how to make turbo motors check out their engine reign in formula1 back in the ´80s. with their 1.5l v6 turbo motor that was the most powerful in f1 at the time.

  • wow your informed? the acura tl does not compete with a 3series bmw it competes with the 5series, the tl is also not slower then the 330i they are about the same but the tl is over 100kg heavier!

how about the other hondas such as the NSX, the s2000, integra-R and more I seem to remember them competing with bmw and other german cars with much bigger engines and still winning! and the japanese do not put billion horsepower in anything their cars usually didn´t go over 280hp.

  • No, the RL competes with the 5-Series. Anyone can tell you the 5-Series pounds the RLs pussy any day.

  • yes I know a bmw 520 is a mega car and so much better then a fully loaded RL? and your out of business saab manufacturer is so so much better then Honda?

somehow the worlds largest engine manufacturer isn´t as mechanically advanced as the germans, that´s a logical explination? they just are the biggest just because?

    you win you know all!

    ignoramus.

  • Thank you very much

  • @h1coupe ur comparing cares that are ou t of production and no honda engine are not as advanced and as much as it pains me to say their are built very good

  • @Greddybear In what respect ain´t they as advanced? the fact that they made 100hp per liter in the late 80´s in engines that can be spun to 8k rpm+ all day long and lost forever, and that´s just back in the 80´s since then their always in the forefront of engine advancement, reliability and economy..hence they are the worlds largest engine manufacturer, cause their engines are amongst the most advanced!!!!!

  • Put a 30,000 dollar Subaru vs a 75,000 dollar BMW and the subaru will surely win. Subaru WRX vs 330xi how bout that. Both AWD, and both around 230 hp.

  • For someone who can't spell Ferrari right, why should I bother with you? Second, let's cut it down to $65k and take an M3 which will rape any Subaru ever created. Just don't bother kid.

  • You wasted 50 percent of your response by talking about my screen name...which is a joke because I don't like Ferrari...NICE FAIL THOUGH.

If two people had 65k, one bought an M3 and the other bought an STI, but spent the extra 30k left over on modifying the subaru....you would be out of your mind to think the Bimmer would win. You will never beat the Subaru performance per dollar, sorry.

  • Oh and reliability is comparable to that of a toyota or honda...and repairs (when they are needed) past warranty are way cheaper.

  • @EnzoFirrari2k6 exactly right and fact is the sti doesn´t need any mods to compare on par with an m3!!!!!!!

  • That's so retarded. You can buy a $10k Kia and spend $55k on mods if you see it that way. We are not talking mods U gay fuck. You defeated and contradicted your whole initial argument.

  • Fine, if you would like to be a douchebag about it put a Subaru Litchfield Type 25 vs an M3. They are about the same price, and factory modified so you can't say it's aftermarket...even though they use the EXACT same shit. Value you dumb motherfucker...don't you get it?

Also there's no Subaru in the 65k price range sooooo what's the point of even comparing it to them? I never contradicted myself...a factory car in the same price range-fine...but if yours is 60k and mines 30k...????

  • Putting 55k into a kia would basically turn it into a racecar, and an entirely different vehicle...not what I meant. I meant 30k to keep it completely streetable but still be capable of contending at track events. Doing it right costs more. Making a stripped out racecar is easy. Making a stock-looking car that's just as fast....a liiiiittle more of a challenge.

  • so its like your're saying you rather have an STI then a veyron, then spend the 100,000's of dollars to modify the STI

and u still hope it will beat the veyron?

most people who buy M3's have money to continue moding it

  • The Veyron is wildly overpriced and over-engineered. Volkswagen loses like 3 million dollars each time they sell one. It's ridiculous. That means that if they wanted to make money the car would cost consumers 5.4 million. The Pagani was faster than the Veyron around a track anyway so if anything I'd have the Pagani.

  • so? thats good for us we get get cheaper then it should be.

  • You are completely missing the point...

It is not a fast car for the amount of money it takes to produce one-especially when another street legal car that costs less than 20% of the production cost can beat it around a track and still be comfortable and relatively easy to drive as far as supercars go.

  • who cares? when the prices goes up, its all about how rare the car is.

  • a 330 xi doesnt cost 75K

a 7 series sounds more reasonable. 7 series vs WRX.... bye bye wrx, history

  • its vtec egghead

  • one thing bud, i go with the oldschool badass. not the pink panties gay shit. hey have a nice day in your lil rice mobile while i smoke you goin 165mph in my 04 SVT KB Cobra ;]

  • smoking others going straight is really badass, maybe you need a car like that to make up for the lack of a penis. try beating a well prepared honda jazz on a mountain road and then we'll talk, unlike yours, the jazz has a decent chassis ;)

  • ohh your funny, It's not always a straight away you know, the car does have an advanced TCI racing suspension. i live in the hills and i have drivin over 80mph around mountain roads. blind as a bat, check the history of the mustang, best selling car of all time, most popular from the 60s and on. face it something lean and mean isn't gay with a Big V8. MUSCLE V8= not gay. lil 1.6L in a shoe, think, drive that in Hollywood and see what kind of feedback you will get ;]

  • a whatever racing suspension that makes a coffin handle like a coffin, real nice. and btw, since you say V8s are so good, what is the point of a 4 liter engine or bigger if it's only gonna produce 300hp? lolol gay ass lazy engines. and If i wanted to show off in hollywood, i wouldnt buy a mustang, cause everyone has them, i'd buy a real car, not that piece of shit you claim to be fast.

Ps: btw, since the 60s, the mustang was always a girls' car, unlike the charger and other muscle cars.

  • wow dude a coffin? haha not even close, and no it was not a girls car, it was used in racing. yeah they offered a standard coupe or convert with the 289V8 and they offered the 302 or 429 CJ in the mach1 or the gt500 or the Boss351, Calllin a V8 gay....stuuupiddd, really messed up right there. Hollywood GT500

  • You either are from LA or live there and are from the south. I can tell by your attitude and choice of words. Human nature is to try and prove others wrong, but don't be an ass and say something like "No I live in San Diego" That's LA. The mustang chassis is so shit. Have you ever looked at the chassis diagram? My 2.0 liter H4 subaru makes more power and torque than your V8 piece of shit. And I have AWD along with a better suspension design. You don't stand a chance in the hills.

  • No offense but just wanted to point out some flawed logic:

Mazda Miatas are one of the most widely used cars in racing (for amateur classes at least). I like them, but KIIIIIND of a girly car.

  • i know some rice mobile's that that outclass your mustang in terms of driving experience, power and reliability

  • rlly fifftyfourj, that's nice and irdc

cause all that matters to me is that my car runds and drives and kicks ass. im not tryin to be cocky. as anyone would say the same thing.

  • Easy - don't crash into anything and you won't get hurt.

  • no one crashes on purpose, (unless your after insurance)

  • remember thats also an 03 fit/jazz and the 08 one does much better

  • owned in back seat xD

  • ahahaha seriously!!

  • is the yaris more secure? i mean that "A" pillar really scare me

  • I'll have a Honda Fit (sure) and I wonder that it's heavy enough for a so small car, but in fact, it's fliing huge!!

  • spero no mi succeda mai!!!

  • 4 stars?? doesn't really look like that is a 4 stars. see the door movement, and from the high viewpoint, the legs seem been gone already....!!

  • the cars supposed to crumple except for the cabin .,... which its doing lol

therefore these are written off so easy

  • it performs good: check out its iihs ratings - top ratings for both front and side impacts.

  • To heck with the kids, what if those were my dogs in the back?!

  • well you can screw your dog wife and make nice dog kids which is be your scenario? lol

  • omg i own one of these..

  • It is safe.

  • it has a really high center of gravity, thats why it flew up and over, but the good thing is that if another car came speedy around, you would be out of the way!

  • True that, cornering is horrible...

  • for having such a small crumple zone - it does well. well, it is safe. it got the top ratings of "good" from the iihs for both the front impact and side.

  • its crashed at 64kph.

  • guess i'd get one only for the city, not highway/freeway

  • not much vehicles (none, really) would do well in an accident at highway speeds.

  • at least u'll have a better chance of surviving in a highway with a bigger and newer car than that little thing

  • I know that, but still. For such a small vehicle, the Fit/Jazz does good.

  • it would be useful to know at which speed the car was traveling... without knowing the velocity, theres really nothing you can tell about the result.

  • I love my Jazz!

  • Airborne!!

  • i wouldnt want to be the kids in the back...

  • LMAO!!! no shit check out how his NEck SNAP :D LOL!!! WOW

  • not one of the safest but pretty good. it was very fast indeed. sure not 40kmh

  • It is jumping for joy that its passengers survived!

  • well damn, I'm glad the US market version has that big ugly bumper!

  • is simple more body in the front

  • Ummm... What?

  • nice! The cab structure held up real nice, dash stayed in place and the passengers looked pretty well protected. In real life, nobody would actually walk out of a wreck at that speed unhurt, but thats regardless of what car you're in, but that wasn't bad at all from looking at the video.

  • all dead in car crash

  • this is a 2003...2007-2007 is alot safer..

  • Actually if you drive in revearse, youl have alot to worry about! loke wiplash! lol

  • the front door bent....

  • safer than Toyota Avanza..

    pretty safe...

  • i believe i can fly...

  • if you drive in reverse you have nothing to worry about :)

    oh yeah!!!!

  • look at 19s...there was a little piece doing 120mph...lool

  • lol it did a 180, thats a first

  • is this a real jazz. maybe all the passenger including the driver are dead

  • Your legs wouldn't have it too good there, but it performs pretty good.

  • that was more than expected over standard speed crash tests.

  • Also keep in mind how fast this car is going too, I'm thinking maybe 60 mph?

  • seen like dangerous lucky i got civic more better resist hit impact

  • How about the driver's leg?...Broken or not..?I'm scared..Im scared..

  • That turned out a lot better than the other superminis to be honest!

    Gogo Honda ^^

  • The Nissan Versa/Tiida got better rear impact crash ratings than the Fit/Jazz.

  • Also, I forgot to add that this was in the IIHS test, and both cars got the same front/side crash test rating.

  • Woah. Look how it jumps up. But it's safe.
