Thanks grandpa, miss you lots xxx your granddaughter Miss you all, who fought the war and gave lives to us, REst in silent peace, shall not be awoken. -3
always thought this ad was brilliant. we should never forget those who were brave enough to go over there and fight so we could be free. thank you ever so much evry vetrain of every war.
This is why i love canada. We had no reason to fight in WW2, It was a european war, but we had the choice. we chose to fight for the freedoms of peoples Halfway across the world in a war that we had no reason to be involved in, other then their freedom.
@zolous990 It real is awe inspiring to see people fight and die to protect their friends and in some cases people they had no attachment to, they served has the said at the time "for king and for country"
@joorrddiiee this comment may be two years old but I'd like to let you know that your dad has not been forgotten and never will. May you rest in peace Donal Greig, thank you for your service.
I know my history, I know what my Oma lived through in Neijmegin and what my Opa and his brothers fought for in the British Army. My Uncle Cliff in London is the only living relative I know of, that fought as apart of the Royal Navy in WWII. He's 94 and his philosophy is, "No good can come of War"!
The soldiers in Afghanistan are there trying to do the right thing. So please respect them, and remember those who died trying to do the right thing, even if you, like I don't believe War is the answer to Peace.
im 14 and i had a remembrance day ceremony at skwl today and some wets came. and what they said really made me think and then i watched this and iunno its like i knew what they went through (not literaly) but anywasy lest we not forget canadian army kickes ass

They shall not grow old,
As we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the Sun,
And in the Morning,
We will remember them.

BlueWave, Lets put politics aside here. Remember them. Unless your accounts of history are different then mine, they did fight and die for us.
