You have to wonder, if god lived in nothing, with nothing, then where did his inspiration for making everything come from? It seems like he had a pretty limited palette for his imagination to suddenly create the vast amounts of various things in our universe.
And What of the tree of life, which if eaten of, god could not stop the eternal life gift? If god couldn't control it, was it more powerful? Did he create something more divine than himself? You don't need jesus if you can find that tree.
How could adam & eve have been held accountable if they had no knowledge of right or wrong before they ate? If one adult tells a child not to do something, and then another says they can, they child does not question why, they only know that they can now do the thing which was forbidden them before.
Why would god make this tree of life, and tree of knowledge and then place them in the garden, with the only two people who aren't allowed to eat from them?
You have a broken analogy here. It wasn't a mere human adult who told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It was God thier Creator, thier Provider who gave them breath and food. The command by which they were judged was clearly given to them, they were without excuse. For this reason God is just in His actions. Not that God needs to be justified but because you are mistaken and don't know the just nature of God.
As to why God made the situation happen like it did I can only speculate. Isaiah 55:8-11 tells us that God's ways are higher than ours and of course this is true because He is transcedent to all things for by Him were all things created. My speculation is that God wanted to show mankind that we fall short of being perfect
Good question about God's inspiration. However, does God need inspiration or does He do everything according to what pleases Him? How did you conclude that God couldn't control eternal life or the tree of life? In fact, according to Ephesians chapter 1, God predestinated who will have eternal life before the world was created (before the tree of life first sprouted through the dirt). Its also clear that it is by Jesus Christ that the adopted children were predestinated.

...And if man was already eternal before the banishing, then why was there a tree of life to provide eternal life? How can you believe in this crap?
