Yo Ross i tried this and found what i think is the video code vhfRzYRiOCM. The video manager is updated so i tried to follow as best i could i tried everything with the annotations but it said video not found but the first time with a diff code it said unknown video code. dunno can u help?

I did your step by step, and I think it would have worked, BUT...my whole account was mistakenly deleted. You Tube/Google restored the account BUT EVERYTHING including videos and history were removed! ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! it worked! well it partially did,because i stopped halfway and did my own thing to download the video. anyway i managed to recover a video i made in 2006 that got removed in 2007, so it should work for older vids. thanks :)

On the new youtube you have to go into "Video Manager" the after that you can see your videos and lots of stuff, but just where you can choose "Edit Info", "Edit Video" and "Analytics" you can also choose a arrow pointing downwards, there you can choose Annotations. And onwards from there it's the same drill as in the Video.

Hi RossVlogs, I have a question on a similar matter. I had many music videos saved on a playlist. It acted as a sort of log of all the new tunes I listen to. But recently I noticed with songs that had been deleted, you cannot even see the title. Before, the title would remain. It was useful because you could use it to search for another version of the song which hadn't been deleted yet. So frustratingly I have no idea what the track ever was. Is there any way of finding out what it was? Thanks.

The title of this video is misleading. What your doing is recovering, NOT restoring. Restoring implies that the video appears on youtube again, with views, comments etc.

Correct your title of this video please. You are not restoring them you are just re-downloading them. Views comments ect.... are not restored. Granted you get the video's back but you do not restore them. Really annoying because I have been through about 20 different tutorials trying to get my deleted videos restored with view ect....
