I totally love cosplay chess! Especially Anime Boston's but when it comes to battle and music, we don't get to see actual fighting between cosplayers, so Metrocon takes the cake because unless they don't have stunt doubles, they get to fight with their own moves!

BTW I still love Anime Boston it's just that Metrocon seems better when it comes to fighting :D

@StarTora2 My account is enabled for any length of video due to some combination of how long I've been a member and/or how many views I have. If that's not what you mean, the format I used was sony avc codec in an mp4 container @15 Mbps.

When you apply you'll have to choose which team you believe your cosplay would be on (the teams are also announced when the application goes live), and if you have a truly emo enough character that would much rather sit in a corner and sulk rather than play with everyone else, then you may be contacted to join team SITCAS.

Because I really want to be Shirobon (He's my favorite character). Either him or Brock. But Brock seems a bit too easy... If Bomberman was too hard, then I would be Brock from Pokemon. (This would be my first Anime Convention so I know there is no chance for me to be in Cosplay Chess but I do want to).

@MegaLordNathan I used a canon vixia HG20 HD camcorder and recorded in spotlight mode, which removes all digital gain so you don't get any grain in the image or problems due to extremely bright scenes with extremely dark backgrounds. I encoded it with the sony AVC codec @ 16mbps.

However, I've tried multiple different mp4 h264 codecs, sony avchd, mainconcept avchd, and a couple of other setups and none has produced both optimal quality and successful 1080p playback on videos over 1 hour long. The file uploaded for the working 1080p copy of this video was: sony avc 1920x1080 30p in mp4 container @ 17mbps using high profile and CABAC encoding giving a final size of ~16GB.
