Fr Stan is a God send to young people. Not sure I can make sense of it. However, what I keep on seeing is people totally disrespecting each other, catholic and protestant. What do we mean 'Real presence?' Well it's the same presence when Jesus said 'This is my body.' Not a reproduction factory of literal flesh and blood, but a real presence beyond a spiritual presence. We use the word Transubstantiation but really that is an attempt to make the presence understandable. One may disagree.

As far as the New Testament is concerned, Jesus didn't pluck part of His flesh out to be eaten by His disciples at the Last Supper, which should be the primary example of celebrating the Lord's Supper afterwards. Where does the Bible say that the bread actually turns into Christ's flesh? The Last Supper was also symbolic, the Lord's supper is symbolic. Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross was the one true real thing.

Then He goes on to explain what He meant....."63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." He is clearly speaking figuratively when he says to 'eat His body and drink His blood'.

Jesus Christ did away with the need for a modern priesthood when the curtain in the temple was torn. Transubstantiation is a false doctrine because Jesus is not a liar: In Mt 26:29 after Jesus had said, "this is my blood" and prayed, he still referred to the contents as, "fruit of the vine". If transubstantiation of the juice into blood had occurred, as both Roman Catholic and Orthodox churches say it was at this time, then Jesus would never have referred to it as "fruit of the vine' but rather "blood".

I am sure if they run further tests and  they will find out it is the same male blood even though the Hosts are from different parts of the world and consecrated at different times in history.

How about; He's a Christ centered Priest with a sort of unconventional personality celebrating the the holy Mass according to the New Rite to the glory of God with a reverence and beauty that was characteristic of the older Tridentine Rite with an obvious sense of the presence of the Holy Spirit with no sense of a sloppy Novos Ordo or Protestant liturgy, reaching young and old with the love of our blessed Lord Jesus. This is where all worship is made equal, the Mass the ultimate worship does not depend on the ability and skill of the priest or good the sermon is. Christ in the real presence of the Eucharist is the equalizer, the center in every mass, by authority of Christ himself. First century Christians beleive it, we should all (fully) go back. The water is clearer, the closer we are to the source.
