  • I was close this body type. But had a knee injury. And it all went down the drain. I can say for a fact it takes like close to 2 yrs to get to this physique. Feels good to be in good condition. In those 2yrs I hit 400lbs on the bench! That required a lot of discipline.

  • @TheAugeX See and thats the only thing that sucks about watching these videos and doing them because even though you feel you are being pushed and worked, you never know if your doing them right. I do them slower and i take my time to make sure I get them done right. Otherwise they are good workouts

  • This stuff works people. Ive done this guys workouts before and I am in rather good shape on top of that. As long as you push yourself and dont half ass it you will know at the end that it was a good workout. Would you rather do this or get on an olyptical for 40 minutes and then still having to hit the weights for a while? just ten to twenty minutes of your time going hard...think of it like that..great job buddy keep them coming.

  • So i've been doing this for one week but I can't do all 8 sets some days but average is 6 to 5 sets. I'm 16 and using 10 pounds weights because my upper body is not strong enough for 20's. I've been doing this while fasting so I have to keep it less intense or I could get light headed. But i've been eating oatmeal and drinking a lot of water when I can eat to boost my metabolism but I feel after this week that i've gotten fatter. I feel my abs become stronger but it's under a lot of fat

  • @Riku1437 That is just a start, continue with the same set, if it begins to be easy, you might go up to 15 reps instead of 10 ;) Then you're going to feel and see the difference ;) The more you add the better ;D

  • @Riku1437 fasting? That's dumb man, especially while working out. You realize you are encouraging your body to devour what little muscle you have? In addition to being horribly unhealthy its counter-productive. Working out is good, eat healthy, eat frequent small meals and eat less but don't fast. See a nutritionist or something, because you are doing it wrong.

  • @Riku1437 it's because your just eating oatmeal (well from your comment thats what i could understand) you need to eat a balance diet which is the reason why your abs arn't cut yet. but trust me have someone punch your abs and i bet that it will still hurt their hand.

  • @Riku1437 #1 problem. You are fasting. When you fast and then periodically eat (oatmeal) your body is in starvation mode and will take everything you eat and store it as fat. #2 is a question(s). Why are you fasting and working out at the same time but yet eating one meal at breakfast? What is your goal in that? #3 Like someone below said. Eat a balanced diet. Then workout 5 days a week to see results

  • @Riku1437 i'm not expert but I'm guessing fasting isn't the best idea for working out because if you have to keep the workout light then you're not gonna get the full effect, you have to eat and drink things that work with your body not just oatmeal and water, and you can't just doing workouts that build mass, you have to do cardio excersices to burn the fat or else you'll have a lot of muscle without be able to show it, but again I'm not expert but I'm sure that'll help you.

    If you want muscle you need high protein, veg and fruit is not enough. For lean muscle you want a high protein low carb and low fat diet with a ratio of 2:1:1, more but smaller meals a day and drinking lots of water helps a lot. Also don't use protein shakes to get the extra protein your body only absorbs 66% of the protein in them, eggs are better it absorbs 98%, just cut out the yolk on some of them it's full of fat. Btw, I'm not complaining at you just trying to help.

  • I never thought I would feel my legs and lower thighs ache in any exercise compared to all the jumping and intense foot-work I do in martial arts. After trying what I learned from this video, I realized how 'sorely' mistaken I was. My gluteal and hamstring muscles are finally sore. I am still aching, and it's been 2 days since I tried these exercises. This was a great lower body workout, Mike. Thank you for sharing it.

  • @LOvE4MuZiK17 Try it. Seriously. I gave them a shot yesterday and I could feel it. My guess is that the muscles and constantly having to flex to keep your balance as you're not only off your equilibrium, but constantly changing where your center of gravity is by moving your arms. However it works though, it does. I couldn't even get through the first set before I felt burning in my legs, midsection AND arms.

  • @rudycastro94 If you want to lose fat you will want to be doing HIIT cardio and eating right but to really focus your lowed chest try decline dumbell flys and decline chest press! To tone your upper abs I'd say do decline medicine ball sit ups with twists at the top for your obliques and for your lower abs try hanging knee lifts, pull your knees up to your left and right aswell as center to work your obliques!

  • 1) 50% diet: just what you eat depending on what you want, gain or lose wight

    2) 30% workout: moderated depending on you level of training, don't over do it...

    3)20% resting: just resting, don't do "sudden or extra push up's or squads" (any exercise) unless your on your workout time, otherwise your just exhausting your muscles and not going to get results from that. And actually the muscles grow when they're resting not when you're working them out!

    thats it! theres no secret just discipline!

  • @naijah687 maybe you should see his other videos, he speaks the obvious on weight loss in a specific area, its just not possible to lose it in one area. If you want to lose love handles, moobs or belly then the only solution is to lose fat in general. Diet and do cardio. Weight training helps to burn calories but its a slow fat burner.

  • i do not see the point in doing that skyscraper exercise... o-o;; I've been studying biomechanics at university.... that skyscraper exercise has no functionality when you are somewhat moderately fit or even unfit... the muscles in that exercise is not recruited quick enough due to extremely low intensity, thus you must do probably more than 10 reps to have any physiological adaptations.... and the muscles you are targeting there isnt really much core either

  • @StateAnxiety ive noticed that too. im no expert at biomechanics or anything. but when i was doing this exercise the skyscraper was the one that had the least impact on my body i never felt anything from it. and i thought that was the one that would really challenge me. i was wrong... i never felt any burn or even a twitch from it. but the rest of it was challenging especially with that short amount of rest per set. after 10 minutes i was out of breath.

Well, from being fat, people not just have a lot of FAT but big, big muscles as well. So, when he worked out off those fat, he increased his muscle mass more also and I think that's how he's big and buff. cus I used to be really skinny but got fat and when I got back to working out my shoulders broaden more and also my body as well. So don't hate!

  • @scheisskind69 muscle feeds off of fat. Its similar to how protein is essential for muscle repair and growth. Skinny people have a harder time getting muscle mass because they have such little fat to go on.
