LOL, can't believe it's the Daisy Duck Dance at the start! That is so random, I still get teased by my mum and sister because I saw this as a kid and got up and started doing the Daisy Duck dance where she does the side to side pointy thing after seeing it on TV and I'm 30 now!
Sarah Greene....a million British men of a certain age go OOOOoooooOOOOOOoooooo.... and a pool table at Hull University is 'allegedly' a part of your history. *sigh*
Ah, yes. Oracle seemed so cutting edge back then. Can you believe that you could receive LIVE football scores which were updated every two minutes? And you can check the weather forecast whenever you wanted aswell. Talk about tomorrow's world.
No doubt the Fiat Uno later suffered from rotten door bottoms, dodgy central locking motors, leaking cam carrier gasket, worn synchro on reserve/3rd/2nd (it was a 70SX) and the ashtray at the front will have gone missing also.
I don't believe it. I look away from YouTube a couple of days, and my most popular (with other users) videos' comments are filled with spam messages!!! (I've just deleted them all).
I remember most of these ads....loved the chicken nuggets advert for Macdonalds....eventhough I had never had it at the time...And did anyone else notice Nicola Stapelton from Bad Girls/Eastenders in the Angel Delight advert???
That was a bizarre advert which was played all the time! Jolly pieces of chicken nuggets falling in sauce, and happy at waiting to be eaten. Maybe one of the first instances of the misspelling "barbeque".
i hate to tell you this but that is not jason donovan lol it really is not it s another man he is rather attractive though muchbetter built than our jason but these tv breaks are fab i have to say..
Shortly after Thames had dropped in-vision continuity other than overnight, and continued to use their classic ident but in a different way. The Clarks ad is immensely psychologically revealing of an old monolith lost in the new 51st State.
Thanks. I originally found this towards the end of a tape in the late 90s, before my enthusiasm for this kind of stuff had not yet been cememented. So, when my fascination for old continuity/adverts etc. was established, I remembered that I had this!
Sarah Greene doing a coffee ad. Lol
Dont seem that long ago

I haven't seen those adverts since they were on TV back then in 1988, but it seems like only yesterday, I remember some of them so vividly...weird!

McDonalds Chicken Nuggets, Nescafe Coffee (made by everyone's favorite baby killing Swiss multi-national company), Angel Delight and (LOL) Kellogs Start! It's like a shit food convention! I think I'm gonna be sick...
BillyIsATwat23 2 years ago
AAAAH but Nescafe is only deadly when one doesn't Magic the beans! There's a clear warning in the advert
simonpenum 2 years ago
Do some research.
If Nestle were doing in Europe what they are doing with their baby milk marketing in Africa and Asia they would be shoot down and people jailed.
But the fact is that because it's just 3rd world children and families no one gives a shit.

Whats a TV Junction?
sunshineboi0783 2 years ago
A junction is simply the sequence of adverts, trailers or continuity that link the end of one programme with the beginning of the next.

who was the boy in the nescafe clip?
robertgray 4 years ago
"I Want a New Duck" is performed by Weird Al Yankovic and is a parody of "I Want a New Drug" by Huey Lewis.
disneyfan85 4 years ago 2
Ted May voices the Dramarama trail whilst I think it's Joanna Kaye presenting the trail for ITV Telethon '88.
treffynnon19 4 years ago 2
Nope, it's Emma Freud - as she hosted the Thames Telethon '88 opt with Jim Davidson.
