  • Wow,this is soooo beautiful... a somber and beautiful tribute

  • I love him I wish he would do a duet with Gianluca Paganelli

  • great song for today

  • Thanks a lot!, I always admire your music, so talent and touched, but this song to America and her brave heroes is amazing. I adore you, thanks so much.

  • dont forget whats going on right now, nothing in media but its getting done.the free world will prevail it always does.

  • the free people of this world can never forget the price of freedom in the past and future.we must stand together to defeat the will of tyrants all over the world.ever hear of people fleeing america do you?

  • @neweast1 The free people of the world, rather unfortunantly, have forgotten the price that has been paid. Not all have forgotten of course, but it seems like more, and more have forgotten it every day. It makes me rather sad.

  • there is nothing else but america

  • God bless the young lads who have and will hit the "beaches" of the world in defence of freedom. So many died for us, facing scenes of untold horror and bravery.

  • fabulus, a lot of feeling put into lt. that was

an expensive peicr of real estate

  • all are and will be unforgetable.

  • I cried when I heard this Song the very first time!

    It´s so beautiful..

  • VERY BEAUTIFUL

    5*****

  • It is funny how you foolish Euros are so willing to give away other peoples' hard won freedoms. It is funny that the Irish, who fought so hard against the British have the least understanding of the "Purple Finger". It is funny how America gave its all for Western Europe, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Kuwait and now Iraq. What has Ireland done for "Feedom"? Oh that's right, you gave the world the IRA! Great! And you bitch about the USA!

  • slimjim666- my message was to you, and you alone.

Your post really annoyed me. Why? My mother survived the Allied bombing of Berlin. My father survived the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Ireland was basically spared the nastiness of WW2. So spare me your nonsense about "innocent civilians" and above all spare me you nonsense of the USA flying planes into the WTC buildings and the Pentagon. I think you kissed the Blarney Stone once too often.

  • May be you should ask the Iraqis what they think of Sadam, Iran, the USA, Al Qaeda and the UN instead of watching videos . Why are the Irish so Pro-Sadam and so Anti-USA?

  • The US has the military capability to completely destroy the Middle East for oil and it has not. Why is that? Europeans by the tens of thousands protested for Saddam to remain in power. A majority Europeans believe to this day that Saddam is/was good and the US is bad. If Europe was not Pro-Saddam then what were all the Bush/Hitler signs about? Where were the Saddam/Hitler signs?

  • OK...when I posted my comment..what you read was nothing more then healthy enthusiastic patriotism; Something, I believe most American individuals should and do feel for this wonderful country..WHATEVER ITS FLAWS. Needless to say EVERY country has something to be ashamed at one point in time. YOUR infamous IRA is notorious for it's "political statements"!!

  • Slim, so you would prefer Saddam to Britain? It's funny how leftwing cowards like you wouldn't lift a finger for Iraqi freedom! You sit there wallowing in your Irish/Euro delusions praying to God that you never ever have to fight for freedom. It's funny how Euro Trash like yourself minimize freedom for others. You make me sick. You don't deserve the blessings of freedom. I pray that one day Putin invades Ireland like it did Georgia. The USA won't waste a drop of blood on you. NEVER AGAIN!

  • I'm not here to argue wheather the War in Iraq was legitimate or wheather or not 9/11 was staged by my government (but I'm betting those were worn out statements!) The fact is those things happened!!!! 9/11...HAPPENED. NO one...ASK US if we wanted to go to war. BUT WE DID!! FOR better or for worse..our country men are there risking their lives .You are such a creep. Go worry about your own goverment...and don't start arguements that prove nothing and lead to dead ends.

  • Isabelle, please thank your brother for me. His Service is very much appreciated. My father is Dutch and survived the German Occupation. To this day I am amazed that young men, like your brother, risked their lives thousands of miles away from home for people like my father. Many of them died by just trying. America has sacrificed much for foreigners in far way lands for many decades. It's what we do. It is who we are. Never allow insignificant people like Slim make you think otherwise.

  • Slim, Euros like you live under the umbrella of Western Civilization brought to you by MEN like Isabelle's brother. Men, who were/are willing to give their lives for ideals that you obviously do not comprehend nor deserve. America's unemployment rate is below most Euro countries who depend on US' willing and generous umbrella. Should Ireland ever need assistance, I will remember Ireland's willingness to help the Iraqis & then I will be just as generous. Never again will Americans die for Europe.

  • I fought in Iraq...2 tours...don't talk about things you know nothing about. If you haven't been there, shut your dammed mouth

  • I cannot thank you enough for your service to our country! That SlimJim fool doesn't realize that it is because of heroes like you that he has the freedom to write whatever is ignorant heart desires. May you be blessed for all you have done!

  • This says it all!!! You're not an American if this doesn't touch you in some way. The price of freedom for our country has always been high, and it keeps rising every day. I hope to visit this beach on my trip mext year, to really take in what this message means! Way to go Andre!!!

  • This is a beautiful song, packed with highly charged emotion. The violin part sure shows what a million dollar violin sounds like in the hands of an excellent violinist. They say that the violin comes closest to showing as much emotion as the human voice. But until we hear that woman sing, only then can we appreciate that a violin wilts in comparison to the emotion of a human voice. Does anyone know who that beautiful voice belongs to? That beautiful voice with over a two octave range?

  • Kelly God a dutch soprano, who works as a soloist at the Hannover Opera

  • It's nice to see not everyone has forgotten our men who have died for them. Makes me proud to serve

  • Beautifull i would like to get that on a video

  • just THANKS !!!

  • I'm so proud of my father.

  • Omaha Beach....60 years later.

  • I love Andre's Playing

  • True vanbock, so many forget what we did for them. This is an awesome reminder!

  • Unlike so many others (e.g. French and Germans) the Dutch still honor America for liberating their homeland. Andre is fantastic.

  • This is a tear jerker song. I am proud to be an American.

  • What soundtrack is this song on?

  • Thanks!

  • Beautiful, everyone should listen to this...
