  • A lot of you are giving this guy a hard time. He seems like a good guy to me.

I think it says a lot about how shallow your character is the way you people are judging him

  • Crossing your legs like a girl and showing your yellow teeth in public and being too cheap to spend money in order to have fun is also a difficulty of living in Japan.

  • @cableconnection6

    youre an asshole

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 I apologize for shoving my Cock down your mother's throat and Cumming all over her Fugly face.

  • They don't have a lot of free time in their free time???

  • Came for Neil Patrick Harris

  • I think he looks like a handsome, nice guy, whats with the hating?

  • The guy says about absence of japanese friends?! He should look at mirror first ! :)))))

  • @termogard

whats that supposed to mean? because he is unattractive (in your opinion) he shouldnt have friends??

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 I think he is unattractive mostly from japanese standards of attractiveness.

  • Don't trust two-faced jap hypocrites.

  • maybe if one looks like a serial molester panty-stealer, one would find it difficult to make friends. Just kidding. Be more friendly, a lot of exchange students stick together in a bunch and that prevents them from actually knowing local students and culture, which is kinda sad.

  • I think all he has to do is;

    >get rid of those hippie sandals

    >comb your hair

    >remove the stache

    >adjust the goatee a bit

    >deal with it - join their kind of activities

(your blue balls making you impatient)

But the main problem are the sandals.

  • Creepy, bearded gaijin = no friends in Japan.

Normal, clean-shaven gaijin = some friends in Japan.

Attractive, interesting, fluent gaijin = lots of friends in Japan.

  • Shave, haircut, wash, stop pissing in bottles. Hope this helps.

  • @K1MJ0NG lolol

  • he looks like the Geico Neanderhal dude

  • Shave thatdisgusting beard.

  • Obviously, Japanese always has 2 faces. Most of their kindness is lie. I warn you, don't let their appearance fool you.

  • I am Japanese and dont understand why you have hard time finding friends. In Japan, schools are the best place to find friends. University friends last forever, while friends from jobs are sometimes difficult to last.

But my first impression is you look a bit serious. In Japan, lots of university students play alot and rather childish. But you look a bit older. My advice is just play with no serious idea.

  • I don't understand why this guy might be having problems making friends in Japan. He's not unattractive and seems polite. I notice that many who complain about things while living in Japan are typically unattractive or outright strange individuals, like CanadianoftheCoast. These are people who would probably have a hard time making new friends if they moved anywhere. Look at Unrested, TokyoCooney, or TrevorFerdy- those guys prospered.

  • @12ealDeal Did you even listen to the video or does your thinking stop with your eyes? He stated the problems he's having with making friends and it has nothing to do with appearances! This post is either stupid, trolling, or maybe both.

  • @12ealDeal

NO offense to those guys but I wouldn't hang out with Unrested, TokyoCooney, or TrevorFerdy in the way the guy on this video talks about. I'm actually finding this turmoil funny. I hope to go to Japan and meet some expressive people, not like "setting an event" kind of gatherings. I have no problem being a joker and keeping up in those events, but I'd prefer a much more relaxed and pro-converstation enviroment.

  • That's correct. There are 2 modes of leisure in Japan --cloistered all alone (in which case you can spend nothing), or performing some kind of *expensive* and very scheduled commercial activity in a group.

  • Thanks for the upload! Some good advice!

  • Dude, CUT YOUR HAIR.... loose the sandals, put on real shoes and take a damn shower. You sound like a whiny liberal hippie. I can't imagine why nobody with a brain would want to hang out with your bitching, whining and moaning about everything. My proof? Your stupid video.

  • Thanks for posting this. I completely agree about the friends hanging out comment, which is why I restrict my time in Japan to visits of 2-3 weeks at a time. I find once the Japanese know that you are on holidays & not staying a long time, they are happier to share time with you. I was on my own for 3 months in Tokyo around 1998 or there abouts and I was so lonely until my wife came over to join me. Since then I've adopted the 2-3 week rule.

  • This guy should have spent more time in 2 chome, he would have made his friends there.

  • Then you shouldn't have moved to japan. Go home then

  • Very good video, thanks.

  • I will be your friend, my viking amigo!

  • Well I think that is true many places these days. But there are a few free hangouts, usually in big cities with a name something on the order of .........'International Exchange Center" ...never know what kind of person you'll find at those places...but there are usually some pleasant, even interesting types...who have time on their hands and don't want to spend money and/or be eating and drinking.

  • @maxismax100 How about you learn to express yourself correctly, first.

And if you don't like the Japanese mentality, then please don't like it somewhere else.

While it is true that Japanese people often don't like foreigners, it is not our problem, even if we are one of those foreigners.

If we are, it is our decision to live there and we can always go back to our home country.

If we aren't, it really is none of our business.

If you want express your criticism, please behave a little "difrend"

  • @Yndostrui THIS IS NOT ABOUT AN OPINIO IS ABOUT YOUR BEHAVIOR IN JAPAN LOOK AT THE JAPANESE CONSTITUTION OF JAPAN AFTER WW2 ? WHO PUT IT THERE THE US ARMY IN 1946 THE REASON WHY YOU MAD AT FOREIGNERS IT'S BECAUSE IN OKINAWA WE HAVE AND AMERICAN BASE IN YOUR COUNTRY WHO SURRENDER IN WW2 JAPAN TO AMERICA REMENBER THAT WE KICK YOUR ASS YOU LOST THE WAR DEAL WITH THAT THAT'S WHY YOUR COUNTRY IS SO ANGRY AT FOREIGNERS YOUR CONSTITUTION HAS NO DISCRIMINATION AGAINST FOREIGNERS LIVING IN JAPAN

  • @maxismax100 Sorry, I have no idea what you said there.

I read that three times now, but I still can't get you. How about you write that again, without having caps lock enabled and a few commas here and a few stops there.

    It might actually become readable.

  • @Yndostrui WOW I DID NOT KNOW YOU WHERE BLIND AND NEED READING GLASS BLIND AND DUMB WOW GO FIGUER GET YOUR EYES CHECK IN THE DOCTOR IT MAYBE SOMETHING MORE WITH YOUR EYES MMMMMM ?

  • His earing is in his right ear?

  • @RCLOVE22 yes he managed to place it on the right ear ;D

  • Wth, why do you speak english like a Japanese person?

  • @leoniswoah He's Ken Tanaka's son.

  • @leoniswoah BECAUSE this guy is from EUROPE and made the effort to learn another language very well ,pendejo !

  • Can you speak japanese? If you can, just go to some bar and talk to bartender or talk with salaryman, or many with a yakuza guy. I think if you can immersing with the locals you can have many friends.

  • the original forever alone guy

  • @tsunasandwich

    wow your`re so cool

  • duuuuude you look like young Barney Stinson :D

  • agree. It does take a while to get to know ppl & for them to let you in. I do think the more Japanese (language) you know, the more they will open up & feel comfortable hanging out with you. I also found that you have to make plans 1 to 2 weeks in advance. They don't like making plans that day or even 2 days ahead - it's too soon for them.

  • Where abouts do you live in Japan and are you still there or have you not been able to stay?

  • Have u tried skiing or hiking some hobby?

  • stop whining and be positive for one damn second

  • @xxxkirakira21xxx

He's not whining, I've heard many exchange students express these concerns & have experienced this myself. I did manage to make lots of good friends but it did take some time. If a student is only there for 1 semester it's hard, but I was there for 3 so I did have more time.

  • uum anyway, good luck. I hope you`ll enjoy the life in Japan. No matter where you live, it won`t be fun unless you make efforts to make your own life fun.
