funny thing haydon. i also went to Korea and got to train with the samsung team. u no the one with ryu seung min, joo se hyuk, and others like lee jin kwon (U-21:#10 in the world), jeong sang eun (the 5th world junior boy's single champion-it was in Palo Alto, CA)
mainly multiball. the schedual is something like 30 minute warm up break then serve practice then 30 minute multiball break stuff like that
i actually got put in when they were practicing serve against cho eon rae. its really difficult to return. i was lucky enough to get coached by yoo nam kyu too.
his sponor is butterfly, but nongshim is a team name. like in USA they have LA lakers, NJ Nets, etc. korea has team nongshim, team samsung, and etc. Nongshim does sponsor him too i think
Table tennis is dominated by Chinese, Korean and Japanese. Korean have hard training and eat their own shit to develop a spirit. Japan has 2 Chinese players. Especially 韓陽 was great and belonged to Chinese national team no.6, but didn't play in international. His birth place is Liaoning and most Chinese in Japan come from there. I think China relies on players from there. By the way, Japanese woman idol Ai Fukuhara also played there. Liaoning was former Manchuria and closed to Japan in history.
just imagine how amazing tt would be if points like this were the norm, not the exception! too many missed serves and third ball kills plague the modern game.
I dunno, I'd rather see tactics than pure technical consistency. All these rallies are race-to-see-who-screws-up-first rallies. They are however, very entertaining to watch. This one ranks as one of the best.
@MJGriftz i do agree with you, it seems in elite table tennis these days tactics dont matter its just who can hit it the hardest more often wins. shame really i do like powerful stuff by i also like a bit of guile and finesse and thinking in it too.
Bad decorum in the game field... how did they allow the public to make so much noice during the point??

i actually got put in when they were practicing serve against cho eon rae. its really difficult to return. i was lucky enough to get coached by yoo nam kyu too.

too bad that it was the only good rally between those two players in the match. the other points were always the backhand duel.

Funny haircut from Woo, but otherwise great rally!

What do you mean otherwise? Did his haircut decrease the quality of the rally? Lol
