  • Not as easy to get video then as it is now. I was 16 at this show and I don't think I even had a cell phone yet!! Wish I had it to do all over again. Had a great time seeing Furthur recently though.(~);)

  • Ok I was there..... and it did NOT rain. Terrible video that this is...my memories of Bruce playing Accordion throughout the show ...the way Jerry and bruce were laughing together watching Dylans set....the mint 62 White Impala that was parked in the wrong place at a funnell exit for very crazy deadheads running right over it and the dude on the skate board cooler with dog pulling it selling st pauli girl beer stand out.

  • $50 back then for Dylan and The Dead. Went to this show with my dad and had pretty good seats. Dylan was far better then than he is now. The Dead were ok however it's memorable because it was the last time I got to see them and how fitting that Brokedown Palace, one of my favorite Dead songs closed out the show. I thought the kid got struck by lightning the at the 6/24 RFK show. 6/25 was hot/sunny because I recall bitching that I forgot my sunglasses.

  • @JEH78 yea I rember now the loud boom I was also there

  • @JEH78 yea I rember now the loud boom I was also there ...I now rember that my friend ahd a doberman pincher that got lost and his name was Dylan,so I was running around yelling Dylan ,Dylan and peeps were cheering ..

  • I was there ! Ya'll remember the folks in the parking lot who got hit by lightening ?

  • I am proud to say that I was there! I dont see how anyone that has had the pleasure of seeing the Grateful Dead live can say that it sucked! Bob Dylan opened, he wasnt that great, but it was still cool to see him there..Ironically, a kid got struck by a lightening bolt in the lot...of all places to get struck by lightening. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to see Jerry live! R.I.P Jerry

  • @gr297689 you are wrong ...so wrong..it rained both in DC and 3RIVERS...i was at both..and it rianed at both...get your facts straight!!

  • you tryn to say it didnt rain at RFK..hahaha...where the fuck were you at??...i was at both of those shows, here and 3rivers...it rained at both...so..get it right next time...before you start messaging wrong info..:)

  • sorry. i am having computer issues! you have this on tape? you rule!!!!!!!

  • we were there!!!!!!! i'm goin with vinnie over brent. dead on beatles? and box? best things ever.

but........damn- i'm having the worst time uploading your recordings..however, you got this on tape? seriously???- i love you. a lot. you are fucking awesome-you got this on tape? then? you're a straight up hero!!!!!!!!

  • we were there!!!!!!!

  • These shows were at best horrible i mean listen you barely hear garcia it is fairly obvious that he does not want to be there, i really did not want to be there. After brent passed the band went down hill fast, and vince was of no help his songs were more than lame his playing was worse.Maybe i was just used to the day's when keith and donna were in the band noi hassles good dope much, much better music..The people that went to shows at the end SUCKED,thieves, rip offs, lame dope, just ASSHOLES>

  • @coyote023 believe it if you need it,..or leave it if you dare

  • @coyote023 Not every show sucked and for you to post that is ignorant and revisionist crap. I am so sick of you older heads acting like you are the only ones that ever saw the magic. get of fyour high horse and enjoy some of the great post Brent Shows even up till near the end The last night in Seattle for starters. jerry evenused the Alien tonefor the first time in almost 10 years during the fire on the mountain jam.

  • @glyn420 Bro ,first off i said the people at the end sucked and they absolutely did that is a point u cannot argue. Now the music that was played it was at least '94% lame. Can you name for me 10 shows after brent passed that were as you say ''magic''? What is this so called ''alien tone""you speak of? We older people can judge since we saw both the old stuff as well as the new, garcia was turning down his own guitar ,you can see he was not digging the music,he was just happy to get off stage.

  • @coyote023 This show did blow but 10 post Brent that were magic easy. And if you dont know the alien tone go to archives and listen to the Fire on the Mountain 5-26-1995 they have it on there 10 magic post brent 1.5-26-1995 2.9-10-91 3.10-31-91 4.9-22-93 5.9-13-93 6.3-17-93 7.9-26-91 8.6-20-93 9.9-20-90 10.6-25-90 BTW the people did mostly suck at the end.
  • @glyn420 First off i cannot listen to anything from the '90's let alone '95 so that alien stuff will be unknown to me. I was at like 7 of the 10 shows you listed and god knows i am ashamed to admit that. But it looks like you got off on the song that used to be dark star, bro there is not even 1 respectable dark star with vince welnick not 1 most of them were about 9 minutes long,i saw birdsong's that were longer china cat>rider,half-step,playin's,shakedowns all longer than the song formerly

  • @glyn420 as dark star. Did you ever look up at garcia and his hands were moving like he was strumming his guitar but no sound was comingout? Did you ever look up at him and see him resting his arms on his guitar mid-song? Bro during the '90's no disrespect to stella blue but i would rather seen stella than morning dew what does that tell ya? And i loooved stella blue.If you wanted to see jerry happy the garcia band was the place he smiled he played they way i was used to him playing he was

  • @glyn420 happy to be on stage.Maybe i was spoiled with the late '70's when i got on the road back when tickets were $9 bucks or jerry would do 2 shows an early and late show and tickets were $7.50 for both. When the dead played college's and you got a student to get your ticket and it was $5.00 bucks that was what the grateful dead meant to me,when you saw a small group of the same people at 10 out of the 12 shows on that tour. when you could get clean liquid and some bud by some happy to share.

  • Anyone have anything from RFK, 94? Blessings.

  • They Sound Great But You Suck With A Camra, And Jerry Was Trying His Best I Mean He Was PRactally Just Waiting To Die THEY SOUND AMAZING

  • RAIN!.....And boy was it...i was drenched, and due to the very good ell ess dee,i thought i was in the rainforest..funny how memories like that stick with us,considering the stuff we ate.magical!!

  • @imissjg -Yo that this video is from RFK not Pittsburgh. Thats where we got drenched!! That show was 6-30-95. No video from that rain, wish there was

  • @gr297689 It poured like a mofo. RFK is the show where the heads got struck by lightining. the lot was flooding water up to almost my knees and Im 6'4". If you dont know what the hell your talking about keep your mouth shut.

  • jerrys solo.......ouch......

  • I was there and you could just tell that something was wrong on the whole 95 summer tour 3 people were struck by lightening at RFK not one

  • There's something sadly beautiful about this video. The waves of people that seem to go on forever and the band that provides the tunes.

  • Thanks for posting this, it was my last show and it was nice to see. I'll never forgive myself for not riding the tour out til the end. It was the first time in four years i jumped off before the end. Everything was crazy and chaotic and there was just an overall bad vibe that tour. Course we had no way of knowing it would be the last, and i'll always regret not being there to enjoy all i could while i had the chance. RIP Jerry and thanks for the best times of my life!!

  • Best times of my life also ! I jumped off in 91/92 thinking I would have time to go here and there but never made it back and regret it to this day........RIP Jerry

  • Rain was easily one of the best covers they played.

    "When the sun shines"

  • A dead head was struck by lightning and died in the parking lot of this- the last Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead at R.F.K., a packed venue w/ 15,000+ on tour and 100,000+ of their friends in and around the stadium.

  • Yeah, i remember. It was actually the sister of a girl i was hanging out with there. But we didn't see it happen and didn't find out til we got back home a few days later.

  • I cant even watch videos from this late. its tragic

  • what a weekend....Dylan and the Dead @ RFK....could it possibly get any better?? 2 days, 2 shows, plenty of hijinks....RIP Jerry...

  • what you can't see in this video is that it was pouring down rain during this set! It was amazing!

  • @nichole4amanda That was pittsburgh!!

  • this is really cool. thanks for posting. my last show. wouldn't be too hard to sync the sbd

  • wow- thank you soo much-

  • crazy video man, the dead right at the end. post more if you got it
