Quick Tip for those w/ frequent "activity" problems: I went 2 my doc n regards 2 my crazy on/off bad skin days, she gave me a script for 1% clydamicine (antibiotic) lotion, as I am allergic to pennicllian*.. I told a friend about this n she wondered if she could take some old antibiotics crush em' n make a thin topical lotion, 2 see if it worked on er "activity"..of course I told her to just talk w/ her doc. but she did it anyway, n it actually worked! Her face, like mine is so clear!

I highly suggest if you decide to try this.. be sure to test on a diffrent (but just as "sensative" as your face) spot, as everyone is diffrent, my script instructs me to wash/dry and apply a thin layer to my face 2x a day, and was also informed I could mix it with facial lotion if desired! Oh yeah it took 2 days before I saw results, but was def. worth it!

benzoyl peroxide 2.5% + adapalene cream nightly will do the trick. removes clogs and kills bacteria and eventually resolves rednes on a long-term basis....although this might be a prescription drug in your country. best to see a dermatologist at least once a year especially if you like putting on marvelous heavy makeup :) great vids. you are hot :)

@AmpedforZanBrew it has to be aspirin because aspirin works differently than ibuprofen and acetaminophen. the aspirin helps to dry it up, exfoliate, and relieves redness. the visine can be any kind, it just helps remove redness more, and all visines do that.

Toothpaste. If you have oily skin and your pimples are oily...this works great. Just put some on the blemish before you go to bed and go to sleep. Wash it off in the morning.

@ihul09 try lemon juice :] i did and it worked pretty well for me you can cut a quater of a lemon up and rub that on your face (not the lemon skin, the inside) or use real lemon juice and just pour a little onto a cotton wool pad :D

Make sure you use ASPIRIN (active ingredient: aecetylsalicylic acid) and NOT Tylenol (active ingredient: acetaminophen) or Advil (active ingredient: ibuprofen).

You must make sure of this because they are, in fact, not the same thing! They are all pain relievers, but the active ingredients (substances in medicine that make it work) are different, thus resulting in a different effect.

Basically, using anything but aspirin will fuck your shit up. The science to back it up is mentioned above.

take a small amount of honey and place it on the gauze of the bandage.

Put the bandage on the "activity" (lol) and sleep with it on your face.

I can not promise that this will work in one application, so do it as many nights as needed.

Cosmo once had an article stating toothpaste could actually make acne worse, so if you have "activity" (lol) around your chin, pay attention to how much toothpaste dribbles out while you're brushing.

Not sure if it's true, but hey, it was in Cosmo lol.

Icing also works to reduce redness. And there are these $2 mud packs at Walmart that can calm your skin if you're like me and get the tiny ones all over.

Lol will have to try the paste though.

Aspirin is made by using salicylic acid, you can also use crushed willow leaf sometimes, cause thats basically what aspirin was orginally tested with. Thats why it helps, you can find Salicylic acid in all of those black head and acne face washes.
