Atta boy DAD. You will have those memories to cherish for a long time. In times like these its good to see and know what really counts in the world. My (grown) kids love to bring up old stories of crazy dad and our wild advenures on the southern AT. Best regards from an old day trekker down south.

Hey Coach Taylor this is Cory Hussey from your excellent backpacking and geocaching class. Didn't realize you had a video of you and your sons trip on here. I'm laid up with a broken leg dreaming of getting back out on the trail. Great video makes me want to be out there even more.

I will be attending the UT Martin Selmer Campus this year. Get some more of my base courses out of the way. I will probably transfer back up to the main campus next fall.

My oldest son bought some property near linden near the Buffalo River. We need someone to help build some trails. Steep grade trails. We will pay you to help. What about it.

Very nice job on the slideshow. I really liked that version of over the rainbow. Who did that? Looks like you guys really had a great trip.
We did that section over the past Thanksgiving holiday. Temps were in the single digits for our low.
