Can you overlap music with this program? I am trying to make videos like Julia Nunes. (For an example look at her cover of The Love You Save) but i dont know how to overlap everything so that the music and the videos sync up. Any suggestions?

hey i've tried to upload videos from movie maker straight to youtube but of course it doesn't work. You need to burn your movie off of movie maker on to a blank cd. Then put the cd in the computer and upload it on youtube =)

why do ppl even use vegas when you can download premiere pro cs3 for free from adobe's website, just reinstall it every 30 days, and it's always free, lol. and MUCH more powerful - its just as easy to use.

actually that's wrong. it doesnt check your IP at all, it just puts a key in registry about which date you installed it. all you have to do is donwload the adobe "cs3 cleaner" from adobe's website and run it inbetween installations, and you get 30 more days. easy.

Dude... Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, Video Edit Magic.. These are "Movie Makers" for beginners. I like to call the Pussy Video Makers <3 :). *Sony Vegas 7.0* F-T-W! Use Sony Vegas 7.0, it is by far the best on the Internet. Wicked free editing. And better qualitie.

i got sony vegas 7 but everytime i try to use it i screw up :( it was too hard for me so i stopped using it and started to use pinnacle studio Its awesome but not as awesome as sony vegas....... Do you know where i can learn how to use sony vegas?! i really wann lean it, its hard PLEASE REPLY!

Actually, Windows Movie Maker is pretty good if you can edit in the extra effects. I agree that Vegas is by far better, but Movie Maker is very fast and simple.

i've never used any of adobe's editing software or any editing software on pc for that matter. i use final cut pro and its really simple and i love it. this looks a little similar to it and looks like it would be just as easy too.

I use adobe premiere...though I haven't made a single video for here lol...I don't use wmm because it has a slow response time sometimes and not so many effects...and its saving/conversion process is ick!

because in WMM you cant use Mattes and Motion Graphics only their presets its not made for professional use. you cant use WMM and make a music videos etc

Not quite sure I agree.

I have both videos and still pics in my videos to music on my channel.

Plenty of xml files to expand the transitions and such so you are not stuck with presets.

I have received many compliments on the professionalism of my videos and even have done promos for a local DJ using WMM.

No matter what program you use, videos created are only as good as the content. I just don't see the need to pay when the very same resource is on all computers with SP2.

im not knocking you or anything like that.. but you wouldnt be able to use 3d Textures and what not in a professional Setting i work with ESPN.. and they use Flame Smoke and Final Cut which has a lto more features than WMM.. but to get your point across yes ur right but to go further you will need a stronger program
