Risen is one of the best games I have ever played!

The battle system is challenging, graphics are wonderful, music is VERY GOOD.

The only thing i didn't like was the last chapters and the end of the game.

I have a feeling that Risen 2 will be wonderful.

I'd recomend getting this very nice rpg. It has some bugs you can get stuck here and there, before you learn how to fight properly it really sucks. But after all that its a really rewarding experience!

More hi-tech chipsets tend to be better than lower quality ones. If you have GeForce 8800 it'll be better than 9500. Because 8800 is more advanced and better done. the higher the second number, the better the chip.

This is great game but poorly optimized. I got a Q9550 @ 2.83 Ghz CPU and GTX 260 896 MB video card and the fps averages at 30-40 @ 1920X1020. I found out that disabling PhysX and Depth of View improves performance a lot, 50-60 fps.

Actually, the human eye can handle more than a 100FPS per second, but it depends on the brightness/contrast/blur of the medium. (A movie or a game)
