It's so embarrassing to read some of these comments, and it upsets me that my city of birth has so many bigoted morons, and is one of the reasons I chose to live in a multicultural city like Sydney, and not Glasgow, the city I love. @lustycelt You'd be surprised, I think Glasgow has crossed the line in to a multicultural city. I don't think these comments accurately reflects the views of most glaswegians. Most I know have the attitude that as long as you don't come here, and then complain about having to live here, then you're welcome.

It is a very tolerant city. Moreso than a lot of the UK.

@SweatyScotty I couldn't agree with you more, if they don't like it then bugger off and go back to where you came from. Although I've been away from Scotland for many years, little has changed as far as the people are concerned, Scots are very kind and tolerant people, hospitality first.

We have the same in Canada, they come here ( the immigrants ) away from the trouble and difficulties of their home country then they are highly critical of the system, spending most of their time complaining !
