this is just John Legends acapella sped up or transposed and put over the instrumental which is why it sounds off key. Its nobody else singing. Its stopped where its stopped as after that point you get the [pa-ya-pa-pa] - [pa-ya-pa-pa] - [pa-ya-pa-pa] - [da-da-da] which INCLUDES backing vocals.
