i u r mechanical background its really easy to upgrade and do a crazy modification to the projects. whats u need 1 unit welding set, drill set, and a grinder...thats all...
@SUPERFORMIAN not really.. Carson makes high quality rc cars, trucks, boats, airplanes and helicopters. it's a big German company best know in Europe and keep in mind the truck i'm working with was released like 10-15 years ago.
What i dont understand is, how can you run 2 engines if they turn the glutch bell the same way (lets say clockwise). They can't make the spur gear rotate cause they will counter the other engines movements?
no they wont buddy think about it two engine's rotating clockwise mounted side by side will turn the spur anti clockwise. why so many twin eng r/c's if they dont drive ?
@TheStealther well i can tell you it is not a problem at all. both the engines run counter clockwise so they both turn the spurgear clockwise. it doesn't matter on which side of the spurgear they are engaging;) maybe you understand if you make a quick drawing
@savagegarage hey, well i haven't finished it yet. haven't been working on it at all, if im honest.. just buzy with school and other things. might take a while for me to finish this one. the savage xl suspension won't work, already look over them;) i think i'm better of machineing some my self.
@akkie3000 i just buy some new ones. But remember dogbones are measured from pin to pin. Got that one wrong the first time...xD
i wouldn't suggest turnbuckles, since i think it won't be a strong construction. I suggest you make some new strong suspension arms like i do. You could try it of course and make some new ones after all if it doesn't work
use cardboard for protos... not flimsy cereal box cardboard like box cardboard... it works alot better then though

how do you strech the driveshafts? or do you just buy some others?
and if i wanted to strecht my suspension arms too (coz i think its just an awesome idea ^^) could i also do it with some turnbuckles?
