  • Do infrastructure improvements benefit all equally? If I worked in that sector (consulting, construction, ODOT), I might benefit. But I don't and neither does anyone in my family. Not to mention, why are we continuing to pump money into oil-based transportation improvements that encourage us to remain tethered to the Middle East? Transportation infrastructure is a self-fulfilling prophecy. The more you spend building infrastructure, the more you have to spend later on repairing and refurbishing.
