My problem is that I have so much hatred torward myself

To love someone is better then to hate them but to hate someone is better then to have apathy towards them. When you reach a point where you are at a state of indifference towards another, where you don't care about them in anyway. That is so much worse then hate.

In hating you choose to put that anger towards them, in apathy, you no longer care.

Interesting thought. But I don't think hatred is ever a good response, even compared to indifference. When we feel ourselves hating someone, we need to make a conscious effort to love them instead--and it can be done. If we find ourselves ignoring or not caring, then we need to consciously choose to behave differently, to pay attention and to love. In both cases, love will overcome the obstacle.
