I made a mistake, it turned out the comments I thought had been removed I actually posted on another afghanistan video. I was saying that Afghanistan is really about gas pipelines and securing it as a strategic position. China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Iran etc are all carving up oil and gas withing central asia and the middle east and leaving, for the most part, the USA/West out of the action. America and the coalition need an excuse to be in afghanistan. They know that most of the taliban/insurgents money comes from heroin, but they dont put an end to heroin production. Infact heroin production has gone up since the invasion. And I know that my nation of Britain is full of afghan heroin, thanks to having a large pakistani population. I believe that much of the heroin is brought over by civillian flights to pakistan. The government knows this, but they encourage it, not stop it.
