I grew up playing Super Mario All Stars but I didn't have the version with Super Mario World on it so I missed those games. As a result I played the modern Mario games believing some of the elements were fresh ideas when really it seems a lot of them were taken from this game.

Definitely going to buy myself a copy soon.

I meant the water area with the thwomps and ball n' chains. but the ice area and the part where you were walking uphill right before the charging chucks seemed a little sloppy and random.  I did like the bullet bill area to make it a bit more challenging. but again, less is more. try putting less needly random sprites in. case in point, way too many clappers.

i know this must've been difficult for you, and I always love mario hacks but im afraid im going to have to give a failing grade on this one. many of your castle areas were taken directly from the game itself and isn't too original. the parts that are original arn't really that imaginative. I did like the variety of music choice and the multiple deaths were funny, but instead of making a sheer wall made of clappers, try making a normal wall that's lined with them. the water area was good.

@NicoKing68 As a matter of fact, I did restart to make a ROM Hack. I have a couple of level I created. One of them is especially hard. Well, not THAT hard, but you have a very meagre 85 seconds to complete it, and it require backtracking at least 2-3 times. I'll probably upload it when I'm done.

no shit it's on a rom, buddy. playing a well-made rom on the computer isn't much harder than playing on the classic snes. maybe for someone who doesn't know jack-shit about basic video game tactics like timing jumps, playing on a keybord would be difficult. but the use of so many save states just doesn't make it impressive at all. I'm saying people have a right to be unimpressed because this guy does indeed not play well at all. and you don't have the right to say "oh well lets see YOU do it"
