  • nice 1, I just got my detector yesterday, hope to find something here in Arizona!

  • @sleazynz good luck dude, just picture them in your head and sleep on the thoughts, the next day they will be looking for you.

  • wow thats worth atleast $36,000 and idk how much more being a nugget jesus what a find

  • @zachaqsw hey thanks man, the luckiest thing, been all down hill since then!

  • Never ever melt down the nuggets see, it is worth 4 x as much just like it is!! Iive in Alaska were nuggs like that are far and few. I don't believe in luck , so you were in the right place at the right time. Just imagine what an expedition, into the bush, that money could fund! Then you could give that old detector a real workout. Good hunting friend.

  • @ironmountainrotts Hi, that is a great review of that nugget..I wont melt it down, but do plan on cleaning it slightly with acid, I wont use a strong acid, jsut a light washy acid..what do you think? Thanks for the interest man.

  • Lol imagine if he dropped it off the roof.

  • melt it down and refine it and see how much gold you really have there.

  • Personally I think you paid for that in Melbourne!!! Nice Souvenir though. Tell all your friends you found it in the bush ;-)

  • hey i ate nuggets once a week

    we buy them in wallmart!!!

  • @teg598 It was worth $700 an oucne when I found, its worth closer to $1900 an ounce and makes it worth around $45000us! There is some iron stoen in it though, but only a couple of ounces. I have not had it assayed but I think I will acid wash it at some point, thanks for the interest buddy.

  • Holy moly!

  • Where did you find the nugget ? In the city ??? O_O

  • @najnouj59 ha, no it was near Maryborough, Pigeon Gully...

  • @PoshLifeforME but it was just laying there on the floor ? anyway good find mate !

  • @najnouj59 heya no it was about a foot down, right on the edge of some old diggings, the old timers missed it my a hand span.

  • How much did it sell for?

  • @HomeMadeGunNut hey mate, ive still got it! When i foudn it gold was around $800 now its over $1500 where will ti be in a couple more years?

  • @PoshLifeforME Dunno but if the price keeps going up like that it'll sell for loads

  • Dammit i was watching weed videos so i thought this was bout weed :o

  • James Willson Jonson discovered gold and he had alot of gold he still has the gold in his pocket and if you tell someone to dig for the dead body you will find gold in his wallet or his pocket and he used to be rich but now he's not because he's dead. He was very nice he gave gold to the poor and the poor got rich. Wilson was a good man :))

  • @SgtToughLove, you are right mate, but if you look at my other post, i did mention about getting it smeltered down by someone, or the guy to do it him self before he sells it, if he does !.... but thanx for your comment..Cheers

Free Idea's "UseM~LoseM" Good Intentions... MnLare

  • What if he dropped it XD

  • Sweet!

  • @ Gerbilinator and @swift33, just a correction about Gold Prices, people think gold weight is in Ounces, it's not, it is actualy called ( " Troy Ounce " 31.1034768 grams.), and the price is actually the value of gold on the stock market + 30% for under 10 grams, and over 10grm solid is Gold value +40%, so by my calculations at 2days price which is $1,533 per ounce, so total value of his 24 ounce nugget is $36,792 as from this date.. Great find mate

  • Correction, the value is actually $38,256, i forgot to add the 40 % ontop of the Stockmarket Value lol

  • @highwaycruiser Raw Nuggets like this one will not get Stock Market prices, until it is melted down to get rid of the trash. Most Buyers of Raw Nuggets will give you 20% less than SPOT price, because they have to Smelt the Ore to get the 24k that will bring the Stock Market Price. Current SPOT prices will put this Nugget in the Range of 28 to 29,000. To a Collector possibly more.

  • @highwaycruiser Well said mate, best post I think I have read about the nugget...better than, 'look at his fat fingers! They are like muscular hotdogs!' type posts. I am planing on giving it an acid wash, there is quite a lot of quartz and iron stone in it, probably a few ounces, what do you think?

  • @PoshLifeforME , thanx mate,i wouldnt acid wash it, .... play it safe and get it melted down into a mould and remove the quartz that way ..eather take it to a goldsmith ( not sure if they are called that in your country ), or do it your self, get hold of a jewelers blow torch and ceramic bowl, let me know how you go with it.

    Cheers from Australia

  • Doesn't matter how much the karat is, he still gets $5000+

  • 24 x $1500.... LUCKY SOAB lol

  • @Gerbilinator noooot even close, maybe 3 or 4 grand? Not everything that has gold in it is worth 1500. Pure gold is worth 1500 an ounce

  • The only nugget I ever found that big was in my underwear. I hate when that happens

  • sooooo not gold

  • ...... and it falls over the edge....

  • Worth about $34,000 at $1,429 an ounce...... Nice find!

  • that aint all gold, didnt notice any force of gravity when he lifted that up

  • whered youfind thatt?

  • dang.... i thought i was doing good finding a 1/4 once nugget in the el paso mountains, near randsburg, california.

  • @swift33 i can book your mom in for free. but i wont because shes probaly fat and ugly

  • @smokeymcgreenston Probably* If you're going to insult me at least make it half ass, youre making yourself look even dumber which is hard in the first place

  • @smokeymcgreenston I guess theres no point in arguing with a 10 year old lol

  • @swift33 im not 10 but sure. only fags like u would start shit on the net anyway

  • @smokeymcgreenston bit hypocritical no?

  • @swift33 not that hipocritical when he starts the stupid ass argument

  • @smokeymcgreenston On that note I'll end this conversation, I realize you're just typing for the sake of typing.

  • @swift33 have a nice day

  • @smokeymcgreenston or are you openly admitting youre a homosexual

  • looks like chocolate

  • I would have laughed if he dropped it off the balcony.

  • awh man i thought the title ment 24 ounce of weed lol

  • @CocoKing238 hahahahaha same bro, as soon as i saw the word 'ounce' i just clicked this video lol

  • thumbs up if u mistaken it with a weed title

  • i was thinkin weed nugget when i saw the title

  • nice 30,000$ nugget

  • Gold is APPROX $1354 Per Ounce right now. X24 ounces = $32,496. you just found a brad new car. D:

  • I don't believe this for a minute! B.S. Where did you find it? At a bullion shop?

  • WOW, lucky bum!

  • @treasurefindermd heh thanks man!

  • @PoshLifeforME

I got lucky last weekend when I went to Independence VA. Video will be up in a few days. Nothing big like your find but some silver...

  • @PoshLifeforME very nice, but not pure gold. It would need to be seperated from everything on the rock, which would only yeild prob. 1 -2 ounces of pure gold.

  • great result. bloody brave holding it so close to the balcony ledge though! i would be guarding the bastard with my life, well away from heights. from where you were filming, that gold could fund a lot of fun over the train tracks at crown casino ;-)

  • @aussiesurfer28 well spotted! I don't live in that apartment anynmore, when i lay on the sofah all i could see out the window was the CRO of crown's sign. I lost a fortune in there but have managed to keep my nugget.

  • who cares about purity, it can be 24 karat or (if u have enough of it) 1 karat gold, either way, send it to a Gold Refiner and he shal turn whatever gold is present into a beautiful 24 karat gold bar. collect all the gold u can, get it refined then sell it to get a new (X)

  • Alan Greenspan (former Federal Reserve Chairman) now works for John Paulson's fund. Guess what John Paulson's fund's BIGGEST position is right now? GOLD. . Don't say you weren't told. Protect your families wealth. Visit: goldsave.co/

  • Great find! I totally thought you were going to drop it off the ledge haha

  • get it appraise already !!!! Damed bugger ...I'm waiting for months now !!!!

  • Bastard...

  • @oilpond aye

  • I don't want to burst your bubble, but that most likely is not 24K gold. Golden nuggets usually are 20-23K gold. Alaskan gold nuggets are around 20-21K gold while Australian gold nuggets are up to 23K gold. Of course, each specimen differs from the next, so if you want to know exactly what you have I suggest taking it to a jeweler for a proper test and also to find out how much it weighs. When calculating its worth take into account the purity (many people forget about this).

  • @rozyckd gold from central victoria is . . . 'The Worlds Richest Alluvial Gold Nugget Region' . . . w w w.finders.com.au/gold-pages/central-victorian-goldfields/the-golden-triangle/

I will take it to an assayer one day to get the measurments and purity lodged. I think there is probably a 2-3 ounces of ironstone in it.

  • @rozyckd He said 24 ounces not 24K...

  • Now this may be a stupid question but I am not into gold digging. So once you have a chunk like this what do you do with it? Do you cook it ir just sell it like this to smelters?

  • @linuxrules04 bigger natural chunks of gold like this are worth more as they are than their actual weight in gold because they are more rare. but some ppl do melt them down anyways

  • imagine you dropped it "oops . shit "

  • Wow..Good job lad!

  • A girl would be very annoyed to see this.

  • how do you clean something like that?? with a brush??

  • hold onto it gold hasnt even hit its inflationary high yet when it does in say 3 - 4 years that thing will be worth almost half a million dollars just be patient and wait for the load of global quantitative easing to occur

  • @rolficus You're not the first person to suggest that, as amazing as it sounds..

  • super !!!!

  • 34k in ur pocket

  • Yea and your mom told me she finally found you 24 centimeter dick under all that fat.

  • Thats fantastic!!! But the bad news is..... with that kinda luck, your prospecting career can only go downhill from there, how do you top that kinda day. Good job....Bucket

  • @Bucket247 yep i got nothing since, its the gods saying try and you can have.

  • He accidentally drops it off the edge of the building. LOL!

  • that does not look very pure, looks like ore mostly, maybe 14k-18k

  • rofl i would laugh so hard if u dropped it

  • the first thing that went through my mind was "What the fvck are you doing holding that over a balcony????????????"

  • Sell it and enjoy life. A hunk of rock laying around wont do you any good. And you cant take it with you when you die. It takes money to make money for sure-gpx4000.

  • @journeyquest1 good words..i think if i can keep it as long as i can it will serve more than anything a man could ever have..

  • sell that and buy a mustang

  • how much did you get fot that ?

  • @DrivenUpTheWall1 still got it mate, but its worth more than spot gold coz its a natural gold nugget..someone said as much as $A50,000

  • @PoshLifeforME That is very true.

  • @DrivenUpTheWall1 Amazing, you must not be strapped for cash then i take it lol.

  • Amazing find! I'm just starting, and have bought my first Met.Det. I know nothing about gold,so I hope someone can send me an answer. This big nugget seems to have other ores? or minerals attached to it. How can you extract the gold, separating it from the other impurities? I'm very Happy for the man who found it!

  • @johnnywad47 thanks mate..you'll have great fun looking..i've not found anythign since this sheer bloody luck nugget. There is other minerals in there, there's ironstone and quartz...Perhaps about 3oz..i'm going to get it cleaned up soon and i'll do a vid of it.

  • lucky son of a bitch!

  • @thelazyest i'll say

  • Location, man, location!;)

    Congrats.

  • @HolbergEM Maryborough, Victoria Australia...Pigeon Gully...

  • @PoshLifeforME I missed just a bit- I'm also in Victoria, but...Canada;)

  • @PoshLifeforME I live about 3 ks from pigeon gully track and I have done quite a bit of detecting there, I would love to find a nugget like that. well done

  • so how much is this worth ?

  • @worldwide181 Approx 28,000 u.s dollars.

  • Very cool!

  • thats great. great video!

  • come on man the sound is horrible, can't understand your mumbling.

  • @marcjtdc He's bleeding..pomy immigrant.....that why..you cant understand him...mate

  • yea thats fools gold jajajajaj

  • iv noticed that with alot of these videos ... theres always a flat side....

  • @DJJimCowley yeah large nuggets tend to slide down hills and over the millenia, the bottom side gets flat...

  • oh ok.... thanks !! that was a mystery to me! ... nolonger :)

  • Very cool, lucky bastard lol! $24,000 + rock right there. Thats better than hitting the lottery. I'd wash that dirt off and find a safety deposit box to keep it in. HH

  • @jackrodus thanks man

  • Well done all the best in your next hunt,it`s there you gotta just find the SPOT

  • @Mudwiggler yep! sheer luck, lottery luck.

  • detechtah

  • Son of a B i looked for 5 weeks and only found nails

  • @ehbird858 heh, it's all i find now days too,.,

  • @ehbird858 Stick at it! I blame all the Leb Mongos coming here and claim ratting! Dirty fuken tramp bastards.

  • Thats actually fossilised crocodile shit.

  • @ANTIDALLARD

    lol

  • @ANTIDALLARD

Really? And here I thought it was very fresh bullshit. Much to fresh to be fossilized.

    :-)

  • @ANTIDALLARD..If he found that in England ...he would have to give it back to the Queen...........she would say..oooh thats mine....I lost it last week..

  • @ozziairlegger What ? The queen keeps her own shite. ? Like howard hughes, or something? Generations of inbreeding, i guess

  • @ANTIDALLARD AHAHahhahahahaha i love the humour, rock on

  • looks like a turd

  • I was waiting for it to fall out of his hand and roll off the edge of the building hahaha. Good for you, that's incredible...you lucky bastard.

  • Interesting how it is flat on one side from being melted. Secondly it looks like it is copper with a little tin anyway - ie:bronze

  • lucky you

  • @fretalian no way its our gold :P

  • Imagine it slips out of his hand and falls down to the street and gets found immediately by another guy. LOL!

  • @MrGolddenboy

The nugget will be worth just as much acid washed than its natural state. It will become a work of art. All yellow and beautiful.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrGolddenboy I wasn't going to reply to your foolishness but here goes. The Ironstone in gold is an Impurity. Impurities are substances that are present in small quantities in another substance and make it dirty or of an unacceptable quality. A collector wants a pretty piece, free from impurities. Nugget price is one and a half spot, so a pure nugget is worth much more than an impure one. I've collected over 20 nuggets and all are pure gold. Gold and quartz is a different story. No time...

  • Comment removed

  • @MrGolddenboy Your right about the pure part. My mistake. They are as pure as nature allows. 94 to 99% pure.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @MrGolddenboy my wording of pure was used in the wrong context, I meant the gold was free of major inclusions and was as pure as nature allows. Australian gold nuggets are the purest in the world, being up to 99.6% pure. Lets call it quits on this. I'm sorry If I caused hard feelings. I'm sorry. We both got our feeling out!..lol..

  • Comment removed

  • THat was an interesting chat..typical of the divide in how to treat a nugget. I do lean towards leaving it as it is, that's how i found it and I am changing it by acid washing, But when you see icollectstuff's close up vid, they look so beautiful. Defiantly works of art.

  • sell it and buy a new flat mate.

  • To put all the nay sayers at ease, if it is real. You should make a vid of you weighing it on a scale right after you weighed something of a known weight. Good find. Kind of like hitting a mini lottery. Great beginners luck!

  • Thats a very good idea...i actualy plan to film a weigh in as it is, then treat it with acid so it looks very yellow and glorious, and then re weigh it, there is ironstone in it but it is predominantly gold, i'd loose a few ounces i think..watch this space.

  • good on ya mate! I'd sure like to go looking for gold with you.

  • hello mate thanks! I might get out a bit after summer, its been a while and I never found another bit gold. Used me luck up in 1 hit.

  • yea it is its just not processed

  • i'm thinking about treating it with acid, ii predicted it will go down to 20oz or so. tempted, but some people say leave it how you found it.

  • thATS worth 17000 POUNDS

  • Every time I watch this video, I'm always afraid your going to drop the nugget off the building! Nice chunk!

  • that's a piece of scrap ? gold not like that !

  • i got one of those

  • What city are you in?

  • Melbourne!

  • It looks like bronze or brass slag from a welder?
