Well, not that obvious. From the start Bleach seemed to be just another dragonball with power boosts out of nowhere, but it appears that its a carefully thought out plot.

There is no argument that Ichigo's a beast, not a normal soul that turned into a shinigami, he's got enormous reiatsu and he's immortal (he was already klilled three times), with Aizen's big intrest in him in the background, its not just advancing the story but I think those are some plot's bread crumbs.

Id say he's more shortsighted than arrogant. It's not like he lords it over his enemies or whatever, he just makes mistakes simply because he neglects to see the situation deeper. This was the case when his sword breaks during fight with kenpachi just because he thought simply knowing the swords name was good enough, and when he actually thought ulquiorra was primera. Also when he fought against dordonii,he wanted to save his mask for the "real" fights, not knowing that he already was in one.

Well I never said "who will win" or "omgz Ichigo pwns all". Though I believe if Ichigo really had to beat any one of them he would because of plot reasons.

All I was saying is he has the higher strength potential. Let's be honest the strongest of the vizards could be argued to be Shinji. He gained his hollow powers about a hundred years before Ichigo. He was already a shinigami captain for who knows how long. Ichigo on the other hand reached shikai, bankai, and captain+ level within a year.

The rate of Ichigo's growth and the strength of his spiritual pressure are so vast that it has shocked nearly everyone he has encountered. Not to mention how he WASTES most of that by letting it leak out all the time.

As main character of a shounen manga his dominance at the end is pretty much assured. Everything I said before is just the explanation on why the final outcome will happen so it makes some sense.

Hiyori btw is one of my favorite characters. So are Shinji, Kensei, and Lisa.
