  • AHHH i see your using the lowtech ( noobs ) way of doing things.. You will get far better results doing this the proper way. Use 2 characters and a motion transfer event. That way you have the exact same amount of forces applied to guy 2 as guy1, but you can the apply other events on top, even behavior events. And it will still interact with the environment and other characters.

    Yeah i do like to think i'm smart, well smart enough to watch the tutorial videos on the endorphin website and know how to do this correctly. Go to the Downloads section of the NaturalMotion website... vids 12,13 and 14 ( the last 3 vids ) will show you exactly how to do this correctly. One easy effect to do is getting bumped. use a run cycle and put something in the way shoulder height, as he runs past it he will hit his shoulder off of it and look like he got bumped.

  • Also when doing it the way your supposed to. If your doing something like free running. when you make them jump, they are following the animations jump so it leaps with the same force and when you land or grab, the character will have that little bounce in his body, so you get proper impacts too. whenever i do animation i do it twice, once to make it, second time to run it through motion transfer to give it that realistic body/gravity movments you get each time a foot lands or you jump etc.

  • I know you did a vid on how to make a ref charecter animate I may sound like an idiot but how do u make a simulate character animate?
