Ill admit it Turkey Hunting is the most difficult thing ive ever hunted i have been hunting it for 4 years now and only shot a Jake unlike deer where i have been hunting for 3 years and shot a buck every year but Turkey Hunting definitely has more of a thrill
A very good bird gun in general. Shoots tight patterns without a turkey choke. I've taken 9 birds over the past 3 years with my remington wingmaster model 870. Farthest shot without a choke 49yds! Good luck!
These guys really know how to hunt! I would say the little fella in the video probably already filled his tag during the youth season and thats why he isn't shooting in the video!
Wow you guys were covered in longbeards! Great video and congratulations. I hope my luck can be as good as yours! I have the 4th, 5th, and 6th seasons here in WI ;)
Just curious- what were the measurements on your bird? It looks like it had a great beard...I run a small time guide service in NW WI-weather had been perfect, but the birds aren't going up here, and we had a ton of winterkill deer and turkeys...I shot one on 4-15 at 9 am-20 lbs 10" beard and 1 1 /8" spurs....a bird I've hunted the last three seasons....4 yr old...good hunt and video.....
26 lbs, 10" beard. We didn't measure the spurs, as they were sub-par, but they were certainly dulled down quite a bit. I'm sure it was a relatively old bird. Keep up the hunts in NW WI! What county?
It's so nice you gentleman can take that young fella out hunting! Looks like he can hardly hold that bird up in the last picture! I'm guessing he's not quite old enough to hunt yet?
nice bird. i have yet to shoot a turkey here in wisconsin but i am gunna send in for my fall tag. as i know a great spot for fall. was deer huntin in a alfa feild and had 14 turkeys land by me as they flew off the roost, i could have spit on one if i wanted to, lol

Did u guys free hand the video or did you put the camera on some sort of tripod?

We free handed it - I have thought about switching to a tripod some time soon. Sometimes the camera movement gets to be too much.
