Based upon what experience are you referring to ? What are your Qualifications Please? So you think Sharp has the best bass... What about the JVC Kaboom !!!

JVC for me is 2nd best. I have a GF8989 and the latest sharp mini-system(with the sub). Philips is 3rd for me.

I've heard JVC mini-systems and speakers and I've also heard sony. I also had a panasonic mini-system(with sub) two years ago and my cousin has one one year older than mine. My other cousin has a very old panasonic stereo system. They don't sound anywhere as near as good as sharp JVC and philips.

When it comes to sony compared to all the other makes, the quality of bass isn't there.

Ok. Well for what it's worth, I sold this Sony CFS-99 and then bought another one in much better condition than this one in this video. When the weather gets better I'll be uploading some more comparison video's and I'll include this with other brands of comparable size of boombox that you have mentioned playing the exact same source of music in each in Stereo via-cassette and I'll and the rest of the world will have a better answer, as this will be interesting to hear, on Batteries of course.

This is cool, classic music is best played on vintage audio equipment in my opinion.
