the main quest compared to oblivion is at least 3-4 hours shorter, the faction quests are at least 10 hours shorter, all the side quests are so simple.
everyone raves how the d.b.hood is amazing, but after 2 hours of gameplay i just ran into repeat quests.
i beat the main game and all the side quests and factions in (11:39:26)

Personally, I'll agree that it certainly is ridiculous that this received the game of the year award. I saw a half-dozen other games more polished and detailed than this, even upon release.

So, you spent $60 on an RPG, and you're wondering why the story and conversations are so long.. You dont like the combat style of A MEDIEVAL GAME.. There is a reason why they have a difficulty setting for the bandits.. Level up to kill giants.. You probably spend 7 of the 10 hours dicking around killing random stuff instead of doing the main storyline to kill more dragons, or you haven't been looking for Word walls. Dragons defend them. And if you're wondering who is stupider; it's probably you.

I agree with you in 100%! I love playing games but this game... I don't even have words to say how boring and unsatisfying this product is. A good game absorbs you from the first minutes but this is so damn shallow and not involving. I enjoyed oblivion. There were lifeless NCPs and fighting system also but it was really good in the times oblivion was released so it was satisfying. But for todays standards Skyrim is OLD.
