Yeah, I've beaten the PC version on Extreme difficulty too. The hardest part was the fight with Liquid Snake. The difficulty when his health was low.

I beat this game 126 times (says on # completed after you beat the game) on expert and about 100 of those are without getting caught :D i love that game

Metal Gear Solid is the best game for PlayStation One. Even Final Fantasy VII couldn't surpass it! I remember back then, around 2003/2004, I was looking for this game on stores...and I was lucky. Thsi game is way old, but I found fifteen copies of this game. And it only cost me 25 euros and 99 cents.
