And please, people, do not forget that this was the last performance of Vishnevskaya! Do you remember the last performance of Callas, Tebaldi, Nilsson, or any other great artist? All (or most) of the artists in their last performance was not as they were in the prime of life!Even here, she shows that she was / is a great opera singer-actress.

She is, as always has been, Absolutely Wonderful! THx SO much for this wonder and treasure! Besides being so talented and gifted, A Fantastic Human Being ! The Rostros paid very dear for their loyalty to their great human values. I was distressed 'cause of the destruction of her records, but a penfriend of mine, from Canada, taught to this Scientist of Information here, a lesson: "Calm down Luiz, sooner or later they will appear THx 2 her fans" Ur one tyumenboy ! For my part, while some parts are too fast and there are a few places where the conductor and his singer-wife aren't together, there's no doubt about the worth of this interpretation. Certainly Vishñévskaja is no worse than when she recorded the rôle in 1969 (again with her husband at the helm, this time with the Boljshóy Opera when it was on tour in Paris). Pity the sound's so poor...
