  • DAYUMMMMMMMMMMM

  • honoestly i think im good im working on my piano everyday and its people like this that i love and get me more inspierd

  • OMG! ilove herrrr

  • Comment removed

  • her technyque is not correct she plays without dynamics

  • @MyDjOnix She is 6. Her fingers are not big enough or strong enough to play correctly yet!

  • @ElainaBas well, Umi Garrett play perfectly. Yuja Wang played 19 years ago even better than Umi Garrett. Look at their videos. I don't mean Emily is untalented, I only get mad when people compare her to Mozart, There are hundreds of kids better

  • Looks fake but itsreal very talented

  • Emily's good, but she does come from a privileged background. There's this British kid Shane Thomas who started 4 years later. His composing and playing are both phenomenal. Check out his piece Fire and Water on you tube. He dreamt it up when he was at school, came home and played it without any practise!!!

  • she brought me happy tears

  • Ellen: "Is This Child Playing??" *checks*

  • which pixel is the piano?

  • Daaaaaaeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! She is the QUEEN of Piano!

  • yes very good composing talent, but also check out British kid Shane Thomas, aged 10.

Google Shane Thomas Fire and Water. One of his many pieces.

  • shes a wiz kid

  • Wow a great talent she have..

  • I so wish I started piano at her age! I love the piano!!! :p

  • o_o i am no where near as good as her!

  • She is my mom's friend's sister's granddaughter.

  • @D53woww Okay.

  • wow that's good! lika pro

  • damn she good

  • i can play the piano and im 9!!! but not as good as her

  • wow im 9 and i cant play that easy!

  • im scared.... i thought i was good

  • U R AMAZING EMILY !

  • My daughter can play this. she is7 years old now

  • SHE'S AMAZING! I HAVE TROUBLE FIGURING OUT HOW TO SET UP MY HANDS... also I don't know which keys play which note. =D

  • lol, look at the closed captions

  • Her music sound like yiruma's

  • I'm glad to say i know Emily and her brother and her sister and they are all musical but Emily is real and great. I'm glad she went to my school

  • OH,it's fun,but you can't say she plays like as pro.

  • It's amazing you go big girlfriend

  • But she's not Asian! O_O

  • fake and gay

  • @beware57 your'e fake and gay, if you don't like it don't watch it.

  • @ShurburFanClub HEY NICOLE! GO ON FACEBOOK!!!!

  • @shurburs okayyy....

  • @beware57 Are you for real?

  • i wish i am her oh my god *o*

  • wow she good

  • Her music is not complex at all! It's just broken chords ( arpeggios) with a little melody anyone can write! I would consider her a prodigy if she wrote a complex work like Chopin or Mozart! She's talented but not as talented as other young fellows out there!

  • She's such an amazing talent!

PLEASE check out my piano cover of her 'Ellens song' :)

Im a 17 year old self taught musician i play the Piano , Drums and guitar :)

PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO !! :) Would mean so much

  • No top comment! I must take advantage!

  • Omg, she is amazing. She's noly six and can play the piano like a pro, read music and write her own amazing songs. Good on you Emily :)

  • beautiful work, love seeing that genuine talent

  • wow amazing!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • I can't get through my head how a child that young can compose music like that....wow.

  • Oh my goodness, I can't wait until she grows up

  • This girl is amazing but you have to admit If her parents weren't as rich nobody would know her and she wouldn't be half as good

  • Wow shes freaking amazing

The part where she says that her song took her ten minutes To do WTF!!!!!!

  • Shes our next Mozart :)

  • Awesome!! Why didn't I grew up with that talent?!!! JEALOUS!!!

  • i started taking piano lessons when i was her age -.-

  • she must be half asian. I hope that having a woman's brain doesn't affect creativity as she becomes older

  • @Jorgeluismit She is not half-Asian, you close-minded...wait *reads the rest of your comment*, you're trying to be humorously offensive, right?

  • Beautiful song. Warms my heart

  • how someone can dislike this? it's amazing!!!!!

  • she is not the next mozart sorry..... I mean shes good, however not good enough. ...... And if anybody asks why? Well the truth is Ive seen better....

  • @TheLUSHFANATIC sounds like jealousy..

  • @thecursedfly maybe I am jealous, for the fact shes well known and I'm not. Well the truth is I wish my piers and I were well known as she is, because we all have great talent. I know I sound like I'm bragging. But Ive been playing piano at the age of 2. I quit school for piano, and I hope it was worth it. I've basically given up all my chances of being anything else besides a pianist. Ive played in Paris, Carnegie Hall, Tangle wood and much more. I just hope someday people realize who I am....

  • @TheLUSHFANATIC I think Im with you here. If you are older Like 10 and older u probably will not get attention because of your age and not ur acheivment. She's getting attention because she's 6 and I dont think it should be like that, it's almost like the age is more important.

I wish I was on Ellen, especially cuz ALOT of people think Im a prodogy Not only in my family because I played Fur Elise with no lessons, play piano great, Taught myself the GUitar and Clarinet (2nd chair), and I sing

  • @4evrpeace1 THANK U!!!!!!! Finally someone who understands my fustration

  • @4evrpeace1 good for you, post a video of yourself and lets compare you to Emily bear

  • @TheLUSHFANATIC If you've played at all those venues, then I have no doubt you are recognized in certain circles. You don't get to Carnegie without some level of recognition. But my opinion? You want people to notice you, post videos. Maybe it sounds cheap and desperate, but the internet can reach a wide audience in ways that elite venues can't. There's always that one person who might stumble across your work online. Best of luck, whatever you decide. And remember, quality over quantity.

  • @siseo05 THANK you! I love your idea! I do have appreciation in another place. I am grateful for the people like you that can see another point of view and turn it into a solution!

  • @TheLUSHFANATIC You're welcome. :) And I just subscribed. I look forward to seeing your videos!

  • She's a talented musician that can express her feelings in song, nuff said. It's too bad when I see people getting jealous and bent out of shape because she's gettin so much attention. If it seriously bugs you that much, you're missing the point of music. And yes, her playing is beautiful. It inspires me to focus more on my own music.

  • I a fourteen year old guy.. i actually began to cry a bit, talent is so hard to find these days(';

  • wow,, i'm playing longer piano than her age, and she is so much better!! beautiful!

  • amazing!!!! HOW OLD IS SHE NOW?

  • Comment removed

  • @rosebud204 9 I think.

  • omg! she is amazing! <3 :)

  • ummm i dont know how 2 respond to that

  • omg she is the next mozart

  • pssh! I can do that *hits piano keys* okay no i can't.

  • @AnimeMelody75, you must be referring to Mark Yu :)

  • Can somebody HELP ME..I want to find a video with that chinese/korean(asian) - i don't know- little boy who played piano on ellen -who by the way look like a mastermind pianist..

  • @4evrpeace1 That's good for you, now go back in time, when you were 7 again, and compose 350 pieces of music, and then you can GO ON ELLEN, otherwise keep playing OTHER PEOPLE'S music. IN ROCK AND ROLL, you know what that's called, a COVER, you are a COVER BAND. Emily is JIMMY HENDRIX and BEATLES in an 8 year olds body.

  • @CatFlashBlue she learned how to play piano when she was 2 she became famouse when she was 6 and she writes and composes her own songs could you do that when you were 6 and younger

  • I learnt piano before i think about for 3 years

and i only remember 1 song lol

  • if only i could 'Double' like this :-)

  • waaaauw <3

  • I don't think she should be coddled and praised like this. Becoming a child prodigy is all about media. It has little to do with talent. I liked her song, but I wasn't thoroughly impressed. Myself and other people around me were doing similar musical things at young ages, but who cares? I love music, but the fame destroys the love for it. Now I only await the waves of people tackling me as a hater =)

  • @CatFlashBlue You're kidding around right? She is prodigy, There are no 6 year olds who compose their own pieces with such little effort 10 MINUTES it took her to compose it, not you, not anyone on this earth can do that. The Media FLOCKS to the likes of JUSTIN BIEBER, so for them to pick up on her is amazing. You aren't a hater you are just not very perceptive. Any technical flaws she has, she's SIX! She's 9 now and is considered top 100 in the WORLD! She may peak and regress but until..

  • @CatFlashBlue You're kidding? She's 9 now and is considered top 100 in the WORLD! She may peak and regress but until..

  • @GreenLightMe The only reason I wasn't doing this at 6 years old is because I started at 9. I don't hate Emily Bear or Justin Beiber. I just don't care. I don't think it's that important. I view music as something to be shared and something to think of as wonderful, beautiful, in so many ways. Not as some Talent Contest or Hierarchy. I hate competition. And all these prodigies on Ellen make me sick. It's not about her song, playing ability, etc. It's about the media sucking on it like a leech.

  • @CatFlashBlue So you agree she is one of the best PIANIST in the world? that's the only point everyone is trying to make. She is not in competition, she's blown the competition out of the water!! Her musisc is great, it's foolish to disagree.

  • @GreenLightMe No I did not say that at all. If she was one of the best pianists in the world then maybe there would be reasons to be amazed at her. But she by far isn't. Music takes hard work. Music takes TIME. Music is a life long struggle and a life long love. It isn't something anybody, regardless of talent, can pick up. This is what makes me sad about this video. It's all glamorized. It's about the talent the girl has, which isn't that impressive because there are a lot more people like her

  • @CatFlashBlue There aren't "Plenty of people like her" that's the whole point. That's what is impressive. I'm sure there are many children who play instruments but the list gets smaller as you go to good players and even smaller as we move on to excellent players. She's obviously apart of that small list.

  • @GreenLightMe out in this world. But many of these people aren't "discovered". It's more common than one thinks. They glamorize a skill level far too much. It's not about the music in this video at all. And that is what makes me sick. It's worthy of a "hey that's pretty good, bravo." But not of the shock and whatnot that it is given.

  • @CatFlashBlue I agree, but I dont think shes a prodigy, I mean at 3 years old playing a C scale with three fingers is something many people can do which I did at like 2, but without the special attention she wouldnt really be this good.

  • @4evrpeace1 You are another uninformed wack a doo...she is the youngest person to ever play at CARNEGIE HALL, she is considered one of the top 50 pianist for ANY AGE in the world!!!! These are FACTS, not MEDIA HYPE, FACTS, the TOP 5 pianist ADMIT TO HER BEING TOP 50 IN THE WORLD!!!! You are really letting her appearance on ELLEN cloud the FACTS!!!! Remember this is her at 6, she is now 10 and like i said played CARNEGIE and has her own ALBUM..NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE!

  • @GreenLightMe

I know that, but a prodigy doesnt need lessons to do that, she got lessons as soon as she did something that many children did, and I did it younger so why didnt I get special attention. (Ok everyone don't curse at me, I have been cursed at enough already and Im not jelous)

I am not a hater so don't think that either, but I am amazed about what she can do, but not amazed about her age and I do not think she's a prodigy because of the reasons I stated.

  • @GreenLightMe what age did she play in Carnegie? Please tell me? Cuz I have played at Carnegie at the age of 4! So please tell me what age did she play in Carnegie. ALSO she is probably the youngest girl to play in Carnegie with media. I have not played in Carnegie in front of agents and publicists, but I sure have played in Carnegie with my piers.

  • @TheLUSHFANATIC Like anybody's going to believe you. She is considered a prodigy because before she even got lessons she was able to play a scale with the right fingering. She may have had lessons but lots of children do and they aren't at her level. She composes her own music, and that music is very complex. She is under the age of 10 and is in the Top 50 pianists. Don't drag her down just because you didn't get the recognition you think you deserve for supposedly playing Carnegie at age 4.

  • @jASPERTALISO did u get the message? hm just wondering? Like to say that in another message?

  • @jASPERTALISO Dude, she didnt play with the right fingering. She played the scale with 3 fingers. Check the report with the interview with her grandmother.

And I just hate how everyone is getting pissed at theLUSHFANATIC, she/he probably did play there at 4 and if she/he did, why is everyone getting pissed. he/she played younger than Emily and you all are getting hyped. Really?!

Gosh, everyone is acting so annoying on here

  • @4evrpeace1 She didn't play with the right fingering, but she played the right scale which is impressive still. I don't believe that Lush person, and their main objective was to bring down Emily's talent which I'm NOT okay with so I said something. And that whole "he/she" thing is tedious and annoying. Use "they".

  • @CatFlashBlue Haha, I agree. Dont worry, I've been yelled at multiple times for my comments.

I mean, the only reason shes so amazing at 6 is because she had a special teacher when she was 3. I'm sure if she started later she wouldnt be this good.

Yes, I believe there are prodigies, but she just was a girl who played for years. Composing music comes from the mind with musical theory. If you can read music fluently then you can compose. And I agree with you, but my issue is that people only

  • @4evrpeace1 "If you can read music fluently then you can compose." GAH! What? Oh no no no no no. A. It's much easier to make up music in your brain and memorize how to play it than it is to write it down. B. Composing music- putting it on the page, is excruciatingly difficult. It's WAY different from reading music. Trust me. I've been in music for years & have taken my hand to composing for the last 2 years.

  • @CatFlashBlue focus on younger kids other than like older kids and adults. I dont hate her, she is so amazing, a better pianist than me, but I only have been playing for 2 years (I'm in 7th grade) and shes been playing for 6 years which makes her the top pianists.

Back then she was playingfor only 3, but shes so good because she got special teachers and attention and advanced teachers.

  • i just started clapping in front of my computer after Emily played the song she wrote for Ellen. She's so good.

  • This girls older brother goes to my school :) haha

  • Oh and at 7 I played Fur Elise (The whole thing) with no lessons, my first lesson was at 9 years old.

  • @4evrpeace1 You are just so so jealous...

  • @claups88 I am not! Am I aloud to say what I feel I mean, Im not insulting her in any way, but I just think that people need to focus on what she can do and not her age.

  • @4evrpeace1 fur elise is considered a very easy piece...

  • @6o96o9elaine9o69o6 Actually, it was, haha.

It was extremely easy, but that was before I could read music or even took lessons. I did the first half by ear (both hands) and the other half with music. bt I have to agree,it is very easy :)

  • Ok, shes amazing! Im still annoyed that everyones impressed that she can do that at 6, if a 67 year old did that Id still be amazed.

Secondly, in the news story it said they knew she was a prodigy for playing a C scale with 3 fingers at 3 years old, uh sorry sweetie but I was 2 or 3 and I did that so why am I not with a special teacher? Shes cute, shes talented but not cuz shes six and Im 12 and i am playing moonlight sonata

  • You're amazing!!!!

  • That was A-mazing.

  • i think this is my friends cousin:)

  • Does anyone know where I can watch the full thing from the start? Actually, I know why its so hard to find it.......... no one knew she was going to be that amazing so they only started taping halfway through...... xD (Unless that was the first song she played)................ GO EMILY BEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've been playing for 5 years and seriously she's better then me. I'm not afraid to say that, because she is.

  • Omg, I'm so jealous of this little girl!!! Wish I could play as good as her!! :3

  • it's always amazing to watch emily playing the piano...she is a piano goddess i think...but does anyone knows how about her academical score?

  • I studied the facial features. My guess is she is Liberace reincarnated. I'm serious.

  • No. 1. Karma does exist. No. 2 This is good karma manifested. No. 3. Is it just me or does she look like Guy Liberace reincarnated. Look at the face.

  • o_O woow !!

  • :O

  • because of this video, i began playing piano:)

  • Wow, she's from a city not far away from here. Surprised anything good can come out of Rockford...

  • Absolutely AMAZING! Such a gift!

  • Playing an instrument is just like how we study math. We just do homework following some formulas many times and you can do homework very well, but when we try to understand, feel and create new songs from that instrument, we can know how much difficult it is.

  • @teddy23ization Your nephew can play better, some kids can play better, but your nephew and they can write songs?? The answer is no. So don't put your bull shit jealousy to this genius girl.

  • She's so cute!

  • Play it!!!!!!!!!!!

  • woo! rockford IL thats where im from! :D

  • I'm best friends with this little girls brother. <333

  • This is God's gift to us

  • lol i know her she lives in rockford illinios just like me, go eisenhower school

  • @MrNich2D ?what do you mean "sorry!i think i may have stepped on it" ??????

  • She has a wonderful God giving talent. (:

  • 10 minutes to write that very beautiful music in her age....she's not from earth...

  • Don't get me wrong. I'm actually closer to atheists with healthy common sense than to fundamental christians who will shove the bible up your ass, as soon as they get the chance. Man seriously, these guys freak me out! XD lol

But I can't help but like the feeling that Emily was chosen by a higher power to show us common folks what true music really is! I mean why is she so ridiculously talented? XD

Maybe Jesus was like: F*** Goa, take this Buddha! I have Emily! XD

  • @Unshippedpaper Dont be an idiot. You might as well be saying that Santa Claus gave her the talent to play piano one Christmas night.

  • @Unshippedpaper Why is she talented? Because her brain has the necessary functions with which to be. Her parents created her. She had optimal conditions, one way or another. It can be attributed to coincidence.

  • So you're atheist, am I getting this straight?

  • Damn I need the score she composed!!! <3

  • @franceslss She has four songbooks on her website! Emily Bear dot com. (without spaces.) I have all four and they are so much fun to play!

  • I need a breath!! O.O

  • Not so special

    Children can play well.

    youtube.com/watch?v=0U7zyJykgr8&feature=related

  • Hey parents, I bet suddenly your kids don't seem very special.

  • wats the name of the first song???

    and did she wrote it????

  • soooo awesome!!!!!!!!

  • This is what I call a child prodigy! The wonder kid also composes his music not just play (or sing) something taught

  • the voice of god sounds through this little girl...

  • @suopiskelija How does the "voice of god" sound through her? That's retarded. No, really, just think about it. What you just said is extremely stupid. No offense.

  • @apocalypseap it is the voice of god. You shut up loser

  • @FriendlyGeekClassics Have you ever heard the "voice of god"? Have you ever seen god? Can you show god? Can you show the effects of god? The answer to all of these questions is a resounding NO.

  • @apocalypseap: So called Buddhists do this all the time! They even call their tracks "voice of buddha"...lol. Just youtube it: "Voice of Buddha",.. whatever. I don't think that Jesus would mind if people associated Emily's songs with the sound of heaven. The way I see it, she comes up with this stuff out of her heart! Maybe it's god who sends this artwork through her?

Whatever, she's definitely a prodigy! In one way or another! ^_^

  • @Unshippedpaper No doubt she has talent, but attributing it to an imaginary figurehead is insulting in more ways than one.

  • @apocalypseap Have You Felt God in your Body Before?... That answer to this question is a RESOUNDING YES.

  • @xxLyricPrincesZxx I'm sure you've felt a penis in your body before, but that's not god. Sorry.

  • @apocalypseap Excuse me, Im 11 years old.... fucking Pervert

  • @xxLyricPrincesZxx 11 year olds aren't allowed to have youtube accounts. That said, 11 year old opinions don't matter to me, either. You are naive and probably indoctrinated by your parents, so you have no idea what you're saying and therefore I will not respond further to a brainwashed child. Good day.

  • @apocalypseap Your opinion doesnt matter to me either. So I could care less whether you read this message or not. And for your information, I am a highly educated 7th grader so my parents have not brainswashed me at all. And i am not naive. i have the rights to say what i want to say, and i am not afraid to stand up to a lonely person through youtube. Im not afraid to stand up to you in person. So before you say what you say, think about it. Cause I'm way smarter than you think. Good Day!

  • Respond to this video...

  • @apocalypseap i'm 11 years old. Your a fucking Pervert

  • @xxLyricPrincesZxx Dont be an idiot

  • @TheBossMalaka Im being honest.... not dumb..

  • Comment removed

  • @apocalypseap Think twice before You write anything like this down... I hope You're to young to know that for everyone can the term "God" mean anything else... Maybe You do better if You ask Your Mom's opinion, dude...

  • Ammmaaaaaaazing
