@Ravensfan2312 your board might have got a dent in it and the water is seeping into the board but if thats not it then you need to run faster and make sure you aren't throwing the board you should be dropping it and jumping on it immediately. hope that helps

i dig the style, but skimming with a surf board is probably easier than skimming with a skim board, you get more float with the surfboard and makes good for catching waves that are far out. Still a sweet style they got goin on

The difference between a surfboard and skim board are a lot more then just not having fins on the bottom. I do both and I can tell you the board is not only like 1/3 the size of a surf board but the way you have to enter the water catch the wave and ride it back and flatland skimming are all much different. And why would a pro "Surfer" be using a skimboard?lol Look up the sponsered people by Victoria Skimboards or Volcom and u will see real "Pro SKimboarders", Hope that helps :P Cheers

where i live, there is no ocean, just a good sized lake. i skim there alot, but on labor day, there were so many boats in the water that we were getting 2 ft swells in a lake! so i did some wave riding on a wooden board that day.

get a zap bomb or a wave zone rage 50. i weigh about 150 too and have both and love the, eqaully. if the waves where you are are big i would go with the wave zone just cause its a little bigger and mine tends to be a lot faster than my zap.
