Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 Character Creation (Un-cut)

Hey guys im new to dnd. I just have a few questions about the game.

1. How do days pass in the game?

2. Do my friends need their own dice, or can i have about 2 of each die?

3. How long does a typical game go for?

I was wondering if you you tell me if the people in your party or even you can block an enimies attack ,I played a caouple years back and im having hard time rememering if thats possible or if the enemy just needs a to roll higher than you ac then he can hit you

@Dungeonest Just add any new special abilities, roll another Hit Dice, and up your base saves and BAB to the next level, just refer to the chart in the book. Every 3 levels you get a new feat and every 4 you get to add one point to a new ability.

I can't catch how to chose spells with Paladin, or, Ranger, cleric, or something like that...

Example, with a bard you have the Table for spells per day, and the spells knowed by bard table... but with the paladin you don't have it...

@jaime7890 Paladins, Rangers, Druids, and Clerics (Divine Spellcasters) know every spell in the book. All of them. You should see a spells per day table under those classes, but the spells known table will be absent because they know all of the spells, but you have to prepare them.
