the bacteria we need has a thick wall. the bad bacteria has a thin wall that the silver kills. this is just more control from the dam government to control this life saving gift that they try to surpress/ give a bad name.
I'm currently taking colloidal silver as an anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal medicine. A quarter of a pint each day. I'm fine. And everyone else who uses colloidal silver as a healing agent is well-happy with it.
Perhaps its too healthy, and of course, we don't want anti-bacterial stuffs in drinking water. Chlorine and flouride will do. Yeeeaaah, sure, lol.
Though similar to colloidal silver, generally, a colloid is a suspension of particles of from 10 nm to 1 micron in diameter and the silver particles in Nano-Silver are less than 2 nm in diameter and therefore too small to be considered in "colloidal" suspension. They are rather, in a "nano-suspension," a much more stable state.
Nanotech companies need more research to insure safety of their products on people and the environment. Where are the proper regulations to insure manufacturers are really testing their nano products effectively? We need better regulations of nanotech.
OMG you should watch a video called 3sum zac efron and more. It is an awesome video. this is scary if u read this far u will die in 10 days if u dont send to any 15 videos in 2 hours good luck hope u dont die
on monday 3-10--43 was a little girl from 6 years old killed by a bloke. she has no eyes anymore and her face is all blood. her brown hear is no more brown but grey. if you don't send this to 5 videos, she will on 3:00 appears on your moms bed and kill her. you can save your mom to send this to 5 videos.
This is bullshit and doesn't present any factual information. I've experienced numerous positive effects of colloidal silver and have heard the same from many people.
The colloids immediatly cling to to stuff and I doubt that the sewage system would suffer in the least.
We can play a game. You name the technology and it's benefits, I name it's harms, this will be fun.
"I support the "strong" nanotechnology applications, the ones that will provide cures for cancer & all diseases, repair pollution on the atomic level & put soil in it's most perfect state so that it grows food in places that currently can not." <- idealism is sweet isn't it. Food production is not the problem, food placement is. Maybe we don't need corn to feed cows, i.e. waste of energy.
maybe they should, and I think actually it has been proven that they do better with a diet of healthy grass, but in America, for food production, they eat corn.
Wow, we eat corn, use corn syrup. The cows we eat and produce milk grow up on corn. Chickens eat corn. Our health suffers because our diet is corn based... Meanwhile corn crops thrive. Making corn the dominating species of the planet 0_0 ?
@fcharrua The only reason our cows eat corn is because we force them to. the richest corporations in the world have bought most of the cattle in america and stuffed them into cafos (Concentration Animal Feeding Operations) where there is no grass. There, cows live in there own excrement and delevop diseases. They are trying to solve the problem by mixing some of the meat with ammonia in an attempt to sanitize it more.
Every nano product that creates an item is made differently - even the same application and the chemistry to get there can all be done differently. So every nano product is not the same, especially when it comes to particles vs. strong nano applications. I very much look forward to the cures, repaired pollution and no hunger that a world of future nano applications could provide.
I very much look forward to the cures, repaired pollution and no hunger that a world of future nano applications could provide.<-- Promethian thinking at it's finest. Technology is a double edged sword.
It is true that there are always precautions that need to be tended to but when the benefits are worth it, the work to make it safe is as well. For example - when we get hurt or are sick - we go to the hospital to get help, we may have surgery that has risks and we sign on the dotted line because the benefits outweigh the risks, we may take medicine that has side effects - when we use our computers even, we could get a virus and loose our data, but again the benefits are worth it to us.
(part2) I support the "strong" nanotechnology applications, the ones that will provide cures for cancer & all diseases, repair pollution on the atomic level & put soil in it's most perfect state so that it grows food in places that currently can not. These are the nano applications that could really help the world be a better place.
When it comes to nanoparticles and/or socks I understand that it is just one of the (independent - & they all really are independent) steps towards the future.
I don't pretend to know if this Nano crap is safe or not. The fact that this idiot just said there is no proof the Nano crap is getting into our sewage treatment plants is just STUPID. Where the hell else does he think the crap you spit into the drain goes? I would have to guess that is would be minimally bad, but to make a video saying that is just irresponsible. Test the freaking sewage at the treatment plant. Can ya do that?
Your intuition is good, but it gets more complicated. One product, Samsung's SilverCare washing machine, uses silver to sanitize clothing, but because it creates ions (individual, charged atoms) some scientists think that the silver combines to form harmless salts (that no longer have antimicrobial properties) before they make it to water treatment plants. Research is going on now to follow fate and persistence of ionic and nano silver in aquifers, etc.
That is exactly what the industry would say, or else face tort liability. Once the evidence is found, they'll scream: that was the state of tech, and we couldn't know.
I was worried that this video was going to talk about the "grey goo" idea, which is a bunch of alarmist claptrap from Luddite scifi writers. We're a long way from making nanobots, let alone ones that self replicate and gobble up the whole world.
Sooooo many weird ass comments going on before this. "Cores dying" and "Styrofoam in soil"? So I'll just say this, nano-tech is way too new to be just thrown out like that into the Earth's ecosystem. You could say its been around since modern sunscreen, but putting elements into rarely occurring bucky-balls just throws a whole new monster into the mix of a revolution we need to be careful upon entering. We as humans aren't ready to accept a lot of things. This could easily be one of them!
Growth of our own species is uncontrolable and they try to keep things safe global warming is the cause of the core dying and is not preventible it happened to mars it can happen to earth.
I guess the rate of expansion would give a tool in determining the long term life of the core, ie. has our rate of expansion increased or decreased but for all we know it might flash hot before finally cooling, hey, did I just think of an original theory for global warming.....the earth is heating up as it converts it's final radioactive stores just prior to a mars like cooldown. WOW, credit me in your papers willya.
I am getting really sick of every new thing being turned into a goddamn doomsday scenario. The world is not imperiled. Global warming is not our fault and it's not bad. Styrofoam is good for the soil. It's not the end of the world. I feel fine.
You aren't even remotely intelligent enough to determine the actual cause of global warming. To just say mankind has 'no effect' is proof of your foolishness.
That is a damn self-centered way to view what's happening in the world. So if someone dies, it completely okay because you feel fine. And if 10,000 soldiers are reported dead tomorrow, (which could easily happen) that's fine by you. You feel fine. And when Earth is hit by a stray comet, (which could also easily happen) and all 6,000,000,000+ people die from the collision or the lack of oxygen in space, if you live by some weird-ass miracle, you'll realize it's not okay because you're fine.
Exactly! And what's with not the labeling products!
I want to know if something i am about to consume has a new technology in it. I would not use nano silver toothpaste until i have learnt much more about it and feel safe.
@tetranoob: 80% of the food we eat is imported. To make government smaller, government employees were fired and were replaced by contractors. Our food is not being inspected because there are not enough personnel to do the inspections. When Ronald Regan became president, he did away with a lot of regulations. He felt that the government should not be in the mental health care business, so he closed all of the federally operated mental hospitals. Where did the patients go? In the streets?
@ndjarnag: Why the rush? MONEY. Does this answer your question? We live in a capitalist country. Capitalists are interested in making money and nothing else. They would sell their grandmother if they could make a buck.
who needs these socks?? i mean its not like anywhere in the street someone says "hey man take off you shoes i want to smell your feet"..and if your at home its called a shower and a fresh pair of socks
