The airlift that Mr. Obama refers to happened before JFK became President. There was a Kenyan diplomat by the name of Tom Mboya who initiated that first airlift. The second airlift never happened because the request from Senator John Kennedy in the form of a memo dated July 26, 1960 was denied by the State Department! Obama is talking about the Kennedy Africa airlift that happened in 1959 in KENYA and 1960. 230 scholarships valued at over $1 million were offered for African students by Class I accredited colleges in the United States.
This 1960 program included not only Kenya as in 1959, but also multi African countries About 230 students were selected, and money was raised to provide about $1,000 per student for living expenses. I would suggest:
The 1959 airlift was organized by Tom Mboya, and airlifted 81 Kenyans, including Obama Sr.

For example in 1956 there was the Montgomery, Alabama bus boycott which enabled blacks in that town to sit where they liked on buses and not be told that certain seats were for "whites only".

The airlift that Mr. Obama refers to happened before JFK became President. There was a Kenyan diplomat by the name of Tom Mboya who initiated that first airlift. The second airlift never happened because the request from Senator John Kennedy in the form of a memo dated July 26, 1960 was denied by the State Department! Obama is talking about the Kennedy Africa airlift that happened in 1959 in KENYA and 1960. 230 scholarships valued at over $1 million were offered for African students by Class I accredited colleges in the United States.
This 1960 program included not only Kenya as in 1959, but also multi African countries About 230 students were selected, and money was raised to provide about $1,000 per student for living expenses. I would suggest:
1. Listen to the speech

But he was impeached only to be replaced by his successor who has returned the presidency to the tradition of deception relating to key matters of state-particularly those of war. I feel no need to deliberate on the costly & disastrous untruths that forced our nation to its present state of turmoil & took the lives of countless fathers, bros & sons for it's lacking in subtlety (or OBVIOUS for those that may not be able to keep up).
