Art provides the ideas for new theories and technologies. Take a university art class, and maybe you'll appreciate it for what it does.
I'd rather have a few of my tax dollars go to people that are devoted to enhancing the human experience than to corporations that make the stupid decisions that you have mentioned in your videos. But that's just my opinion, I'm sure that a business major would probably disagree with me, as their world revolves solely on money.

I would disagree. The most profound artistic works are often underfunded by the public, simply because most people don't bother to understand them. Thus, most artists only make money by selling cheesy decorations.
And I don't want to 'throw you in jail,' I'm just making the point that having government-funded art is not the worst thing in the world. It does have productive benefits, in the form of art, that can inspire anyone that views them.

The last I checked, the government exists to serve its people. That includes the military, yes, but it also includes social services and even the arts, because, believe it or not, many people want/need this stuff.
Second, much government-owned art would be bought by the wealthy, but the goverment allows them to remain accessible to the public, thus serving the people intellectually.

It's not like ALL your precious tax dollars are going to the artists. Out of the entire federal budget, the majority goes to the military, while the arts get maybe 0.01% of the budget? What's the big deal about a few million dollars when the Department of Defence receives well over half a trillion dollars a year? That would be regulation, which us republicans do not believe in. They need their hands out of our finances and spend their time and OUR money on important things like. American jobs, america roads, improving cities, etc. No social programs that don't work. Remove those and help the one that actually work. We need to cut down on ALOT of stuff in order to pull ourselves out of this tremendous debt. Now is not the time to be liberal, its the time to be CONSERVATIVE with spending.

Obama will try to take credit for all the success in Iraq. More people in Cuba & Venezuela have been held in jail for speaking up against the gov't. Obamas porkulus pkg. is criminal and his cabinet picks are made up of thieves, & socialists. Our new king is royally robbing us. We just hit the unlucky 13th day of the Bama's Presidency, and already we know that he is a liar, and is selling out the future of this country, by spending heaps of money that we don't have, to try to breath life into failing businesses.
