  • @nukanuko If that's the case, there's nothing stopping me now!

(besides finishing college, getting a job, and earning the money for the transportation and lodging...lol)

  • Seriously, I'm actually having nightmares about dying without ever visiting that city! Going to Nuuk is on top ten "Must do before I die" list. Greetings from Umeå, Sweden!

  • Wonderful.

  • The natives look almost chinese.

  • @kylem1112 Anyone who looks Asiatic looks Chinese? Inuits are originally from Asia, idiot. Siberia to be specific.

  • @krnpowr I know that asshole lol. And i said almost chinese. Just like some native Americans look asian.

  • @kylem1112 What a lame rebuttal.

  • I know the Inuit people there speak their own language, and can probably speak English, but do any of them speak Danish?

  • Always wanted to travel to Greenland nice video....

  • 4:23 is that a whale?

  • Thanks for posting this video. I have always wondered how Greenland, / greenlanders looks like. Thanks to this video, now I have a pretty good idea of what it is. I would love to visit Greenland at least once in my life time.

  • This is a beautiful place. Here the time seems so slow...It's all so romantic..

  • Las casas son geniales y brindan un paisaje hermoso. :)

  • Why are all this people commenting saying that they look Asian are so stupid? It not hard to find out the types of people who lives there idiots. Greenland people are Eskimo not ASIAN!

  • @Lamster337 We all must remember that original people that settled in North America , migrated from Asia into Alaska down throughout the rest of the continent. All native peoples from Inuit in the north to the Aztecs and Mayas in the south were descendents from Asians. Therfore they have that "Asian look". I would like to visit Greenland one day. I never realized Nuuk was this big of a city.

  • wooow i like it , i hope that i reach one of these countries in future ..

  • it looks so boring..but still wanna go there someday

  • Why make a movie from my town not representativ for our beautiful town? The weather is depressing and he has chosen to take a lot of pictures of the people who has depressing lifes? Look at some other videos to have a more complete picture. Here is one of the pieces in the puzzle: Auora Borealis in Nuuk - and go on from that - se how beautiful the city can be too

  • Not even a single tree- Most depressing place on Earth.

  • @Pigsarebeautiful Are trees that essential for your happiness? You wouldn't like the desert either.

  • looks depressing

  • What a shithole

  • Interesting.

  • i just love remote, cold northern cities.

  • @jkoloklkoklokl so do I. I live in one

  • @jkoloklkoklokl Come to Sweden!!

  • It's so ugly. It looks like north Korea

  • @strupar69 It does not look ugly. It looks neat and orderly. And North Koreans are starving, these people are all healthy and well fed.

  • Beautiful.

  • :37 MY FAVORITE love the colors and contrasts of all the houses

  • 1:19 Nuuk university?

  • @spices43 No, not Asian - Indian (Aboriginal, Native, etc) people they have in Alaska and northern Canada.

  • @sXeCanadianBoy Inuits aren't Indian, Inuits are Inuits.

  • Cold, peaceful, beautiful

  • danes should show some more respect to greenlandish people.

  • Ah, yes, midsummer in Nuuk. It brings back memories.

  • How can someone not like this video? It's beautiful.

  • @namandavidsen i can smell yo mamas unwashed armpits from here

  • Awesome place!

4:20 How do you cook & eat whale head?

  • It's a beautiful place, especially in HD.

  • the last time i was in nuuk, it was shut !

  • beautiful Vid..shame about the dolphin heads

  • Beautiful! Watching this video was unexpected for me, considering that the other Inuit capitol next door doesn't have even close to the amount of infrastructure that Nuuk has. I was shocked! Paved roads, a public bus system, and the buildings aren't on stilts. I'm just curoius: where is the money for all this? Do they have oil or something like that? Because they surely can't base an entire economy off fish, no?

  • I have lived in Nuuk for a couple of years, born in NE part of Greenland, called Scoresbysund. Nuuk is a danish town placed in Greenland.

  • @Sportsbetting77 its actually a valid question. I speak both greenlandic and danish, but that doesn't necessarily means I understand any swedish.

  • look peaceful

  • I noticed there are no trees at that latitude. I bet the winters are absolutely horrible

  • beautifull

  • So cool how this is just a short hop from the northernmost Canadian point...but its almost like youre in Scandinavia.....notice how the cars change to the more typical Euro type., although I still see some American cars(jeep&dodge). Interesting clash

  • Wow! That is a very beautiful place. It seems so quiet and peacefull that the video appears to be a still photo until you see somebody walking in the distance.

  • beautiful city, thx!!!

  • That is an Eskimo land !

  • they look asain

  • Veramente figo sto posto

  • The population is all Inuit!!! I thought there were more whites, caucasians, in Nuuk!

  • Typical discussion at a Greenlandic dinnertable: "Fishheads.... again? I want meat!"

  • @angeredare they speak danish

  • @sportsbetting77 he said _UNDERSTAND_ swedish idiot.

  • @ELITSLYNAN Yes moron swedish and danish is really similar so they will understand swedish. Retards shuld be quiet.

  • @sportsbetting77 I am half swedish and half greenlandic and no, inuit do not understand swedish. They understand some words but really danish and swedish differs quite a lot.

  • didnt know they had snow chinks in greenland:S

  • Not bad compared to New York!

  • 3:35 - The whole bus geting down?

  • Why there r so many chinese or far eastern people?

  • @landwarrior82 what are you taling about… they are greenladic… they don't even look chinese

  • @houchili They look Asian because they were at one time Mongols.

  • @landwarrior82

this is not Chinese, it's eskimos - greenlanders

  • @MrReqrut Inuit..

  • This is pathetic lol, Los Angeles is must larger than this.

  • @TheAlmightyMixedMan no fucking shit it has 20k people

  • im a huge fan of northern countries, but i cant see any tree here and the landscape looks so so depressive without any tree ;( :(

  • Wow I want to go to Greenland

  • nice to meet you i'm live in nuuk too :)

  • Even as a child I wanted to visit Greenland, esp. Nuuk (once known as Godthaab). Since Nuuk is not exactly everyone's ideal as an enthralling family destination, I figure I'd have to go by myself. Now that I'm 50 I think the likelihood of seeing the place is nil. Will have to settle for such scenic tours as provided here. Well done.

There is something hauntingly alluring and sacred about the arctic. Truly man's last frontier.

    Thank you proukraine.

  • @MrZadokthePriest When you was child you wanted to visit Greenland? And have you??

  • @MrZadokthePriest you're right, i'm 21 but always wanted to see Greenland the most. Whats most interesting to me is the colorful buildings and the way of life in such a Northerly location. Wouldn't like to live there though... the flight costs would be a little smothering, must be a tough call for Greenlanders who want to travel..

  • Fish heads, fish heads (3:56), yummy yummy fish heads, fish heads, fish heads, eat them up, yum!

  • awesome scenery, nice and crisp video.

  • boringgg

  • @germanorostegui your comment isnt much better

  • fuck greenland the country fuckin sucks

  • I aint gona lie people when they say you learn something new everyday you do. Wow that really something to hear man NUUk greenland maybe I might visit

  • Does Nuuk play any sports and what is the population of this capital?

  • @lrey112 Yeah they have loads of sports there, like Golf, Football, Swimming and Fishing to name a few! The population is around 17000, probably the more densely populated capital in the whole world. I'm English but really want to visit there someday :) it looks like a once in a lifetime experience!!

  • I didn't even know or think people lived in greenland.

  • @hellbent130 LOL!

  • @hellbent130 lol only about 50,000 people live in greenland, but there are definitely people there, its a country with its own government and flag, but its controlled by Denmark

  • I live there i have a very large house with SUVs

  • what a beautiful place

  • Cool HD video, now tell me why did you people decide to live in such a cold and distant place?? Why?

  • @RobinPM100 why not? :D

  • @RobinPM100 Because its where home is.
