At first Dante is a pain in the neck but if you fight him enough times you will learn that there is several things you can exploit on Dante.

All you need it a fully charged at all times, some good running shoes preferably nikes, and some positive thoughts and he'll go down.

for dante if you want to build your style meter up its better to stay on the ground shoot him a couple times so hes in an animation for shooting quickly use your DB to pull him then grab him with the DB again to go into the little cinematic listen for nero to taunt him this means right after youll be able to use a combo such as slash,slash, then slash, slash, slash after hit with the DB again and repeat watchout if you throw him after you grab him or he deflects your sword or youll get comboed

I have it on xbox otherwise wud have shown u with trickster and sword master,,on dante, i dance macabre him and its very effective.. u can deal with him with no damage at all and an s rank with swordmaster and trickster.

if this is pc version just get a trainer turn on 1 hit kill,god mode, and inf DT, then ur unstopable and u can get like 2 hours spare on the clock

Just keep killing the enemies as fast as possible. And I believe you get a lot more bonus time if you kill those bastages while your style rating is higher.

good quality vid, Since u asked for better tips sorry to say but u took ur time beating him down, all u have to do is stay close to him wait for his attack dodge it and as soon as hes done blow some combos, also dont waste ur dt on just busting him, snatch him then use the yamato combo in the air.. keep firing charge bullets when ever u can but stay close to him, when ever hes done with an attack he pauses thats when u shud barrage the slashes. try it and leme know.

No, for every 20 levels the difficulty gets higher. It starts on Human and ferom 80 up it goes DMD. Agnus was surprisingly easy. BTW man, to beat dante with S: Gun spam, snatch, 3 hits from the normal combo, snatch again, 2 hits"pause" two more 3 more hits, snatch again, 2 hits and he falls...repeat it and be prepared to devil trigger so you won´t drop ranks...also, when he changes to royal guard just buster him as much as you won´t cause he wont hit you or royal ghuard the buster!Hope i helped!

i did the snatch and the two hits but then i just used buster instead, only took a couple of minutes but as look as you stay in the air its hard for him to hit you with anything but his shotgun

Good job! I'd just like to add that an alternate and easier strategy, as far as I know anyway, is to just shoot him. He'll shoot back to cancel. Just keep doing that, get in his face and then buster him. Rinse and repeat until dead. Stay away when he does the honeycomb and then get right back into it. That's the way I beat him at least.

Yeah, if it wasn't the last level of Bloody Palace, I wouldn't mind trying to fight him more stylishly. But they don't let you continue there if you die. =P But if you got any tips, let me know. =)

Nope, if you die you start back over from level 1. So really, it's fighting stylishly versus staying alive. And Dante at level 101 is a bitch to beat. =P

I'm not exactly sure, but I'd guess that since they put him at level 101, he'd probably be tough to beat. =P Actually, all the bosses in the Bloody Palace are harder than normal.

dante is in dmd. levels 1-80 are in sos and 81+ are in dmd. just today i got to dante for the first time and i died with only 1 hit to go.

Thanks for the info also. =) I had no idea that the levels were split into different difficulty levels like that. So I guess in DMD mode all enemies can Devil Trigger like they do in the later stages of the Bloody Palace huh? Interesting... I need to stop being lazy and unlock DMD. =)

Bloody Palace is SOOO..... frustrating, I got to level 70 something, when I had to fight 2 Alto Angelos and 1 Blitz. Unfortunately I targeted the Blitz first because they self destruct, but when I had it in a buster combo the Angelos killed me!!! I HATE THEM SOOO.... MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

I think you need at least 3,000,000 points to get S Rank? But I'm not exactly sure. And it also seems like you get an extra 2,000,000 or so point bonus when you beat Bloody Palace. I'd search the internet for answers because I'm sure someone has it all figured out already. =P

The 101 stages here have nothing to do with the actual DMC4 storyline, but are a part of an extra game mode called "Bloody Palace", which is unlocked after you beat the game on (I think) "Devil Hunter" difficulty. In Bloody Palace, you basically advance through the levels by killing all the enemies on a stage. It's fun, you should unlock it and try it. =)
