  • Sorry I never took your hammock back to Vaughn's to leave it with the bartender but what better piece of nola could I have brought with me to fla? Catch ya on Frenchmen street one day soon,ya heard?

  • gotta love kermit, although i think he could be more original and less louie-armstrong-ish

  • @TitanticFAIL Individualism is overrated. All original jazz stars from New Orleans severed their link from community. There is no more important or noble musical challenge than entertaining and getting people to a barbecue and to dance on the streets. Playing complicated riffs and starting your own obscure and abstract jazz style is inconsequential:Manhattan bankers you end up playing to will never ever contribute or give back to culture the way some kids in the French Quarter do

  • Amazing

  • Thank you Treme for showing me Kermit Ruffins, I can't believe what I was missing.

  • this is the tightest shit

  • See you in New Orleans Kermit!

  • TREME: The frustrated DJ is trying to convince Kermit that he should meet Elvis Costello, who just attended his gig in NOLA. Kermit smiles, continues to honk a fattie, and says, "Who?" DJ says, "So all you want to do is get high, play the trumpet, and barbeque in New Orleans?" Kermit smiles and says, "Sounds about right..."

    The crowd went wild...
