@Thewoog Technically thats not the case. All train horns are limited to a maximum output of 153 - 158 Decibels meaning that for the most part, they make the same amount of noise. It is the pitch that can make one horn sound louder than the other. Not tryin to argue. I was more so giving you some constructive feedback from true info.
how fast do you think one of those can be unbolted ? train comes through while its picking up lumber.. could hope on.... hahahhaha I liked this video. sounds like a harmonica at the e nd
Love the Vid, I just got a hold of a K3HA from the U.S needs a little work but will be honking in no time, In Australia. i think i have the only K3HA in AUS!! yay.
The Nathan Airchime K-3HA sounds like a mix between a K-3L and a K-3LA I have to admit, but that might be because of the audio distortion. The Nathan Airchime J-3 didn't sound that well though. I liked the J-3 vs. the M-5 take 2 more because it had a good edge to the sound. 844Steamtrain might be right, but I haven't heard a recording of a RS-3K for a while, so I'm not quite sure.
Hi can you please show how these horns are made and the way they work... Thanks Sincerely Eyan of South Carolina

You can get different diaphrams and tune the horn bells. Te K3 definitely won in my opinion. A K5LA would smoke em both lol.

Although in saying that, train horns on cars are okay provided they are not used on public roads. or as a primary vehicle horn.

That K3HA sounds nicer than mine, :(
But that could be due to a number of things. or possibly distortion?
